lepeep
"the boys a pro"..."aye, me skin falls off at the slightest touch...wankin's a nightmare..."he he, he was a comedy genius...the bits where he was in agony, were so hard to watch...an amazing program, an inspiration for us all to moan a little less, I thought. Metarie
I'm watching the 50 greatest documentries on ch4 and although I normally hate these types of programmes, the clip about the couple coupling with alzhimers (i spelt that wrong, I know) was heartbreaking, I don't know how I'd cope with something like that. Paulscoconutass
Oh me, what a watch. Eyes were watering from the very first scene, it's amazing how someone can be so accepting of death, although if i was in his position i'd probably embrace the idea too. I loved his incredibly dark sense of humor. "I've always been a crap singer" being the highlight. What a brave guy.

Rachie
I watched it last time it was on, really interesting and insightful, plus his attitude really was just comedy. Kinda puts things into perspective though when you realise at the end that by the time it had aired for the first time he'd died.
lepeep
he's dead in the last few scenes of the program...that was the weird thing about it....
Stripey
i do question the value of programs like this, and I wonder why people like watching tragic things happening to other people, for entertainment purposes. Sorry, but I don't wanna see this kind of crap on tv just so people can say "aw wasn't that sad, at least he had a sense of humour!". Channel 4 has really gone downhill lately, I don't watch it anymore.

*Amy*
What an inspiration the man is, to everyone. I thought it was an excellent program, so many people would benefit from watching it and perhaps think twice before moaning about insignificant things in life. It's definitely not something people watch for entertainment. A total eye-opener, makes you appreciate everything that wee bit more.Declaring he could see down Nell's top and signalling "1-0" to the camerman after the kiss was right funny. I was bubbling for the last 15 minutes of it.

I would put your reaction to this film down to you having no soul.Well I would put your reaction to this film down to you having no mind of your own, letalone any vestige of soul or trace of intelligence, but hey, what is the point in making personal attacks on people because they have a different perspective with regards to a tv program? I mean, why bother having an adult discussion of the issues raised when you can just insult the person you disagree with and bathe in your own smugness, you subnormal tosser.
