Hardcore Mel
Poldino's on Little Belmont Street is tasty as hell and less than 20/head. Their veal is to die for. Pancho Villas on Bon Accord Street has fucking tasty Mexican food.
framheim
paldino's is good but i felt the waiter was a bit snooty when i went there a wee while ago.

stroppycow
Kurri Lounge on John St (not to be mixed up with Kury on King St which is shite). The Braided Fig is lovely, Bistro Verde on the Green is always good. The Stage Door is good and their banquet menu is excellent value. Nazma on Bridge St highly recommended. Can't go wrong with Cafe 52.Yum. I want my dinner now.
Guest MDP
chiquitos(sp?) is the best place for a sizzling fajita platter!
CamilleY
Ciao Napoli is a really good Italian, though might be a bit expensive for what you're looking for. Good for a treat though. I like the Blue Moon for Indian and Bistro Verde for fish, they've got a really cheap 2 course lunch menu. The Square is also nice. I've never been a lover of Cafe 52... I've got to get my hands on this years spree book, so many freebie resturants !
framheim
to be honest i quite like the fajita's at bassment. credit where credit is due there i think.
Chris
if anyone mentions Littlejohn's they have no taste buds, and probably no soul (or should that be sole? arf).I'll second my brother's choice of Howies, fantastic food in there. Braided Fig is good as well. There's a seafood place beside the King's Highway on the green that's good, but I can't remember the name of it.
