Rass
Right, sorry to have to talk business here but it is slightly concerning me that theres been no talk of actual arrangements for the day itself. Whats going on, am i right in thinking we are using all house equipment? if so will there be enough guitar amps to accomodate 3 guitarists? i'd like to know asap about this before we have it dropped on us the night before that we have to lug another amp to the gig (we are without transport, so the sooner we know the better). What time is soundcheck? is there a soundcheck or are you just planning a linecheck as we're all sharing equipment? We are all sharing equipment right?Whatevers happening on the day, what time are you wanting everyone to be there by?As there are less bands on the bill are you fitting extra songs in to each bands sets? or will we just be running short?Sorry about lots of questions, but if you dont staple these facts to everyones heads now, well, your asking for everything to fall to shit. Plus, im going to be away form my computer from now, probably until the day so it'd be handy to get a rough idea...Cheers.

babykarma
I'm keen to help out on that front. I'm hoping to make it to the bassment after my work and pick up some flyers, so should get some handed out on thurs night, possibly even tonight. Rumour has it that there will be something in the papers thursday

jester1470
I should stress that the gig is an early one, it's 14 and over and is from 7-11 meaning hopefully people can get last bus home etc. Come on guys suport the great cause and watch a bunch of bands probably looking very silly and playing some cracking 80's songs. So come on guys, doors at 7, first act at 7.10 !!!!!!!!! not long...CheersStuart
jester1470
And in other news Ross also informs me there are posters and flyers in the Bassment for people who have expressed an interest in helping out, cheersStuart
Rachie
Had I not been stuck in London and Northhampton since Thursday morning I would have been in to get and put up/hand out flyers. Sorry about that guys, I don't get back til tonight either I have however bought my ticket, and have been encouraging many folk to do the same. Hope you get a good turnout. Tsunami victims don't want anymore, after all, it's only their way of life and loved ones that were washed away in an instant.Don't come to the gig, they've had enough help. Skubbs
Dammit, I'd be going if it wasnt on a Sunday, the last bus home is at 8 o'clock, and although I'm all for helping out I'm not paying 8 just to stay for not even an hour. I'd rather just give that to Save the Children directly.

Ross
From the 8 ticket... 8 is going to charity after costs.....Thus the idea is to raise as much as possible.Hopefully this gig won't turnout like the Music Hall gig last night. Ross
I should add the costs are almost met and thus all of your money goes to charity.... AND you get to see a few bands on top of this.

Guest Zeenat Aman
I'll be coming along to this, sounds fun, but the apparent dissapearing support from members of this site, after all the initial positive posts etc, is very dissapointing.I hope the turn out tonight proves me wrong.
