I've only heard one Vic Chestnutt song (the one he did with the Smashing Pumpkins obviously), is he any good?

I bought this one as he's backed by the Silver Mt. Zion types. It's good.

On first listen I agree it's pretty so-so, too early to give my final judgment though. It's reviews have been glowing though.

Not the review I wrote! Ha ha ha!

And the article was accompanied by an interview with Yan.

Now, I've done loads of interviews, and I've come to discover that rockstars are generally pretty difficult to get anything out of. Yan was the most difficult interview I've ever had to do. The man had nothing at all to say. I don't know why he agreed to do the interview, because it must have been as gruelling for him as it was for me.

That was just a wee anecdote for y'all.

I must say that's suprising. He must exhausted himself writing those rambling incoherent extensive sleeve notes.
