that fighting shit record is fucking raging

p.s. the fugazi is awesome, cheers

Aye, gave it a spin, had a right laugh too, not what I expected...

The Fighting Shit ep is indeed spot on.

Now if only someone would take "Margin Walker"...

Roxy Music - Roxy Music

Incredible String Band - Hangman's Beautiful Daughter

Of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?

The Triffids - Calenture

ABC - Lexicon of Love

'Calenture' is a great album, but the second disc of demos and home recordings is far better in my opinion. Gil Norton produced it, and it sounds really shiny and dated, but the demos sound really raw, and are far more windswept and bruised. Which is what the album should have sounded like in the first place!

Rock Fact: the opening track, "Bury Me Deep In Love" was used in 'Neighbours' at harold and Madge's wedding. it said so in the press release anyway, but I choose to believe it nonetheless.

Yeah I have to admit that on first listen Calenture is really dated and overblown sounding, and I can very well imagine Bury Me Deep In Love being used in such a context.
