I've been using Cubase SX3 and i'm totally confused. I recorded the guitar and bass parts along with the metronome and then started adding drums in with EZdrummer. EZDrummer is a f*cking brilliant program but my problem with it, is that it will only go through cubase in a midi track, which obviously causes a problem when making an audio mixdown, 'cause if i export the midi file, when i play it back, it plays back as a midi piano. In other words instead of hearing drums, i hear piano. It's doing my nut in! Anyone know how to make it audio? ps: can i please stress that nobody says "just play it back and record it with a microphone" 'cause it sounds bloody AWFUL! cheers. Berni

for a rock/metal band, aged between 18-22(ish) i'm a guitarist in aberdeen and haven't been in a band for ages since the last gig i played was a bit of a mess. Already got a second guitarist... anyway, looking for charismatic, hardworking, likeminded musicians. Our influences include... Metallica, avenged sevenfold, shinedown, maiden, satch, ac/dc, guns n roses, killswitch engage, Zico chain, Nevermore, Van halen.... - the list goes on. Singer - None of that screaming shite. looking for someone with a strong powerful voice, willing to work on harmonies and write lyrics. Nothing too depressing either... we're here to have fun, y'know Drummer - Don't have to be an insane 352545BPM player... but that would be pretty damn sweet. own kit is pretty much necessary for gigs and stuff.

Kristal Waver, been messing with it for a couple of weeks. it's pretty much a really simple version of cuebase and the likes. i've been recording using a shitty pc microphone and my amp. could be better, but it's pretty cool when you have nothing else. when you record a second track it CAN make the metronome be a bit off and stuff, but just move the tracks to the left or right (as appropriate) and record like that. worked for me KRISTAL Audio Engine tell me what you think berni

Okay folks, one thing i must say is just that IF R&B had loads of gibsons and expensive guitars in, it'd mostly be eye candy, cos not as many peolpe go into a guitar shop to actually buy guitars any more. just to browse, and when you do find one, chances are you'll end up buying it off some dodgy website, so r&b are doing shit all wrong.

In a kinda heavy rock/ metal band, influences are bands such as avenged sevenfold, metallica, all that remains, etc musically, but vocally... we're not sure yet... we don't do much of that screaming, cookie monster vocals like most "metal" bands, we just love fast paced rythms, guitar riffs and stuff.... we love experimenting and trying new stuff... pm me if you're interested.

for a rock/metal band. none of that screamo shite either. just decent music with vocal and guitar harmonies, fast paced drum beats and shreddage, but we don't really stick to one genre all the time. we have slower songs with more feel and groove to them too so you have to be kinda flexible with that. nobody can be the super fast metal drunk asshole all the time. might seem picky but we actually want to be good. drummer - must have his/her/its own kit, and be able to get it from a to b. vocalist - must be decent, have a powerful voice and be able to help make harmonies cos i can't do it for shit influences metallica, avenged sevenfold, shadows fall, zepplin, stone sour, black tide etc. get in touch if you're up for it. only serious people too, don't want to be fucked around. oh, and you must be up for drinking sessions that last all night and leave you feeling like shit.... or someone that doesen't drink but is willing to look after us. yeah im speaking shit. don't care about your age except you must be over 18. not saying that under 18's aren't talented. but theres some places that won't let you play unless the whole band is over 18. if you wanna hear some of the riffs we've recorded (very roughly) on the pc, get in touch. about us - me (berni) and my bro (alex) have been playing guitar together for fucking years. our sound is unique but catchy. we were in a band called krystal vision with and ever changing lineup. we played a fair few gigs, and didn't to too badly. then when we had a set lineup we changed our name to bite the bullet which is a cool name, took it from an yngwie malmsteen song. anyway, that lasted about 3 weeks haha. now we're starting another new band. me (guitar/vocals) alex(guitar) and rick (bass/vocals) needing a new name which we will obviously come up with when we find something that resembles us and our sound as a whole. and im really rambling on right now. so yeah, you probably read 2 or 3 lines of this and are about to send a silly reply. if you're interested, hit me up
