  1. Had a little google search, couldn't find "minor threat" but i found "extortion threat" which is 66. it's not metal enough. in fact, it's 600 numbers away from being metal enough... extortion sucks
  2. Thanks John. I'm basically using a lead which is computer mic input on one side and jack on the other to record guitars and the signals not amazing, but i'm savin to get some stuff, and maybe when i have enough tunes play some gigs. It's a weird idea, but it's basically gonna be me, my guitar stuff, a microphone and some nice little backing tracks. Bands haven't worked out for me so far... it's worth a go i guess.
  3. Somehow i knew that somebody on this forum would write that. I didn't actually know about the '907' minor disturbance thing. interesting though... any opinion on the song though?
  4. Roxie 77's three albums. They're only available by digital download but it's totally worth it. their new one has some particularly excellent songs. pop-rock from sweden, in case you're wondering Roxie 77 on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
  5. Ah the beatles... where to begin? I was born and raised in Liverpool, so when I was younger I hated them. It's not that they were BAD but it's just that you can't walk down a fuckin' street in liverpool without seeing something to do with the beatles. All the things liverpool has and all they care about is throwing a picture of john lennon at you. When i moved away to scotland five years ago I started listening to them alot for some reason, and they've really inspired some of my lyrics and some of my (less rocked up) songs. So basically these days I love them, but there are alot more bands out there that could be put forward for the "best band ever" trophy. If you wanted to narrow it down bigsby, you could maybe change it to... "the best (genre) band of the (1960's/70's etc)" Peace Bro!
  6. Agreed. I dunno about gigs in the backroom though. It's alot more laid back in there, I love it.
  7. Berni907 on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads Questions answered before they're asked Cubase sx3 EzDrummer why 907? I do not know I'm aware of the single dud note at the beginning and the mysterious extra bar in the second verse of the tune. There will be more up soon if any of you like it. Let me know what you all think (also, have any of you guys noticed that changing a song from wav to mp3 totally destroys the quality?)
  8. No carpets, the room at the back needs a bit more room
  9. Wow.. someone who sings like a ten year old AND has facial hair....
  10. I really want a guitar like this... but the question is... AM i willing to part with my beautiful ibanez?
  11. Possibly one of the best film scores ever. besides star wars. that rocks
  12. These maships are awesome. blink182 one is the winner though.
  13. how can i give proof lol. give you my password? it IS cringeworthy. but such great heights is an amazing songs and they've... killed it... i'll never be able to hear it the same
  14. who killed bambi by the sex pistols is hilarious. And oh yes, busted are awesome. they're ridiculously rebellious. did you know they only go to school because they fancy the teacher? they're off the fuckin' chain man!! don't wanna stand in their way...
  15. Never heard of confide before, and they're terrible. destroyed one of my favourite songs. i hope they actually take the time to read the message i sent them on myspace... it reads: "I want a reply from this and im sure you can take 30 seconds out of your fucking schedule to do it. what the fuck? you've turned a really nice song into something which can only be described as the sound of a dog choking on it's own shit whilst being fisted by your mothers. I think you should all die... seriously... fuck you all... None of you can sing and you can barely even play. may limewire eat up all your royalties. good day, sirs"
  16. As far as im aware, the only way to listen to a new cd is sitting cross legged on my bed with headphones on staring at the artwork and following the lyrics. This digital crap is killing the music industry. hence why there's so many shit bands. I mean.. theres even a digital download chart. kinda like the top 20 chart hits or whatever... but counted by how many itunes (and other things such as that) download are bought. It pisses me right off. And as for the lp's/cd's/mp3's argument... lp's have superior sound quality. it's not as clean sounding as a cd but it's more of a real sound if you know what i mean...
  17. It's bollocks! i have a bunch of old records here, the one thats in right now is ELO. in the case theres 2 records, all the lyrics and a massive poster... Now what do you get? an email saying "thanks for buying these electronic songs which you aren't legally allowed to put on disc" FUCK YOU TECHNOLOGY!
  18. fuck dude. any luck? some people are right bastards
  19. Who's all going? I am for sure. my first ever gig was alice cooper. i was 10 i think... and it was terrifying. wanna go slap him in the face for disturbing me as a child. never slept the same since. He's fucking amazing though, first artist i ever got into, first gig i went to, i just can't wait. when i went, i met ryan roxie (his guitarist at the time) and i've been in contact with him since. he's in his own band in sweden now so if you guys wanna check it out, go to HappyPill on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads Anyway, alice cooper.... get tickets. it's gonna be amazing.
