  1. yeah, but if he's not going to be using said strings to play live with, what's it matter? haha. I see your point though. I've got a "Fender" here that I bought off my mate for 20 that I wouldn't even grant the privelage of a set of 50p guitar strings to.
  2. I agree it's worth quite a bit more than even 50, but I am really struggling for cash at the minute. And i'm sorry Adam, but I assumed that "working til 5 at dyce then band practice at Meldrum" meant you were in Dyce now. I'm not trying to be a dick or condescending in any way, but it's all arranged and stuff now.
  3. I've arranged to meet Bigsby tonight though =/
  4. I'm sorry man I really need the cash... Sold to Le Vicomte Bigsby de Garthdee.
  5. I live right in the middle of town, Garthdee's a bit of a trek when you can't afford a bus lol. meet me at the holburn bar on holburn street?
  6. Is there no way we could do it today? Honestly completely skint and have no food lol. If tomorrows the only way for you, then i'll still try n get rid of it today, but if there's no takers i'll come meet you tomorrow evening.
  7. I've moved house twice in the last few months and they must've just got lost in the shite. Gutted like.
  8. toshiba equium a110-233 type : Intel Centrino Mobile Technology featuring Intel Core Solo Processor T1350, Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection and Intel 945GM Express chipset clock speed : 1.86 GHz front side bus : 533 MHz 2nd level cache : 2 MB standard : 512 MB maximum expandability : 4,096 MB technology : DDR2 RAM (533 MHz) capacity : 40 GB no idea what any of the above means but it did serve me well up until i stopped using it about 6 months ago. It had windows 7 beta in it for a while and was fast enough for what I used it for, which was just music, internet and msn, I also had my copy of cubase and ezdrummer in it. It's just hardware right now, you'd need to install an os, but it has a legal windows xp key on the bottom of it. Will take whatever you could offer mate. Skint as skint gets to be honest.
  9. Don't be talking about my mother that way. She's a saint.
  10. Ideally i'd like the cash today, so offers are welcome.
  11. Trade? I'll trade you my soul and a lucky rabbits foot. It's honestly the closest thing to money I have.
  12. As positive as I am knowing that that would in fact be the best course of action... Maybe the guy doesen't have the time for it?
  13. yep thats right. skint and was trying to sell it for a higher figure but im skint as fuck so hey, 50 and its yours.
  14. Million Dead - Harmony no harmony Iron Maiden - Final Frontier (Don't be expecting too much from it) Shinedown - The sound of madness Kotaro Oshio - Dramatic (excellend acoustic instrumental stuff if that's what you're into) Blind Melon - Blind melon Frank Turner - Love Ire & Song
  15. 17? You have to be joking. Never paid more than 12 for a cd in my life. EDIT - and I think that the 12 one was a cd/dvd thing.
  16. What did she expect, really? She was warned before the show but went on anyway and she's now threatening to sue the guys.
  17. Mike Portnoy from DT. Now there's an amazing drummer.
  18. Coincidentally, that post you quoted was intended to be the last one. Now this one is. Or is it?
  19. I don't feel a need to read the whole thread, I can gather from the most recent comments that you're blatantly bashing some guy you don't even know. The songs they wrote when they were 14 are the ones that got them to where they are. they're their "classics" if you will. Are you suggesting that Megadeth should stop playing their old songs? Tanbourine? You're so witty. I can't be bothered wasting my time on this argument any more. I don't know you at all, but I think reading what you've typed into your computer in a sad attempt to be slightly humurous in a situation where it is clearly not required gives me a good idea of how ridiculous you may actually be in person.
  20. Tre cool? No. you don't wish death upon him... though it would be nice? Contradicting yourself mate. Get a grip. Blink 182 probably started out just as any other pop punk band did. 3 guys playing their instruments with eachother, probabably in a basement or garage, and they've done well for themselves. Like I said, i'm not a fan of them at all, but you've got to give them props for getting to where they are.
  21. Travis is a bloody good drummer, you really can't deny that he's one of, if not THE best in his genre. Wishing death upon a man that you don't even know is just balls, although i've said it jokingly several times about "emo kids" and James Blunt, you seem to REALLY dislike this guy with no real grounds whatsoever other than the fact that you don't like his music. I'm not a fan of Blink 182 either, but at the end of the day, they got up to the "status" they're at for a reason. People obviously must like their music, or they wouldn't be selling out gigs, or making multi-million selling records, right?
