  1. No, no, i have one of those, don't worry. I know how they work. I guess what i meant to say was that i couldn't understand your, what seems, 4 year old kid thought process. S'all a bit silly, really.
  2. Yeah, didn't think i'd make this :\ I don't know what it is, but the gigs i actually want to go to always fall the day before the most important uni work of the year. Nevermind. Can't wait for the mae - shi gig though. That's going to be off da hook. I'll drop out if need be.
  3. I'm pretty sure it's Drummonds, unless it's moved again. Should be along if i get my work done.
  4. Ah, yes, i saw this. Funny, i remember chat in a thread about this last year and someone from the Belmont saying it was very unlikely! Anyway, i think i'm going on Thursday night.
  5. Zach Hill pretty much p3wns everyone mentioned in this thread so far.
  6. You realise your post makes no sense at all, right?
  7. And Johnny Foreigner only got about 6 people earlier in the year. Criminal.
  8. Yeah! It's great! I still prefer everything else they've released over it though...maybe time will tell. I get the impression it could be a grower..maybe. It's definitely less intense, and i'm struggling to find specific parts in some songs to cling on to, BUT it's still good. They were blindin' live like! You missed out!
  9. Should be at this providing i'm not home! Looks good. --- (Checked out Violent Breakfast by the way, pretty good. I prefer Me And Goliath though! Sick Boy is off the chart.)
  10. Sinaloa - Oceans of Islands LP Sinaloa/Daniel Striped Tiger tour split 7" Picked them both up last night at the Edinburgh show. Sinaloa were mindblowingly good. Gutted that DST could only do the London date. Damn school!
  11. Dundee is great. Probably the best in Scotland these days.
  12. Whats Ricky Jupiter Lander's new band? I love their 7".
  13. Owls, Make Believe, Joan of Arc, The Sky Corvair, The One Up Downstairs, Owen, Ghosts and Vodka....there are many Kinsella related projects after C'nJ and American Football!
  14. Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) - Year of the Rabbit 7" Look Mexico - This Is Animal Music cd Ida - Lovers Prayers 2 x 12" lp Building Better Bombs - Freak Out Squares 12" lp
  15. Yeah, Pelican are pretty boring live.
  16. Drummonds is such a rubbish venue. What a shame.
  17. Really? I thought it was just Held By Hands and Hooray Say the Roses?
  18. Better recommendations; MySpace.com - Algernon Cadwallader - Yardley/West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Surf / Afro-beat / Christian Rap - www.myspace.com/algernoncadwallader - Cap'n Jazz for 2008. And just incase, no, that's not Tim Kinsella singing. 7" out, LP on it's way. Both are off da hook. MySpace.com - Street Smart Cyclist - BETHLEHEM, US - Emo / Grime / Happy Hardcre - www.myspace.com/streetsmartcyclist - Perhaps more like early Braid, but the MATH is there. And the vox. Pretty much the best band ever. MySpace.com - THIS TOWN NEEDS GUNS - Oxford, UK - Indie / Alternative - www.myspace.com/thistownneedsguns - The UK doing there bit. More American Football than C'nJ though. Seriously don't get the Hot Club de Paris love, and they sound as much like C'nJ as my mum.
