Precisely! I dropped them an email earlier in the year when i had the idea of maybe doing the Greg Haines show. Unfortunately there was an exhibition on at the time, so anything that did happen would have to happen around the exhibition..., which wouldn't be ideal.

Also, i've been obsessed with a German composer by the name of Hauschka. I've recently been pointed to his work, and wow! What a lovely find! He reminds me a little of Goldmund, but also people like Eric Satie, and the choppy piano work of John Cage. It's definitely less tame, thats for sure. I dunno though, i'm really liking it. Much more easy listening, and as i said, i can see it becoming a grower. It sounds quite similar to the La Quiete material on the most recent 7" (the one with the blue cover and the vidz). We'll see.

MySpace.com - raein - Forl, IT - Punk / A'cappella / Screamo - www.myspace.com/raein New LP up (i don't know if it's all of it, or whatevs) on the myspace. Definitely less hectic than ANYTHING they've ever done (but still as beautiful). Sounds a lot more produced as well. Sounds AWESOME though. Like, a real grower. A few listens already. x

I'm feeling pretty mixed about kaddish these days. More Awkward Than Silence and The Great Apart are 'mazin likes, but the rest does very little for me. Some of the shouty vocals sound pretty cheesy as points, and the SUPERFAST drumming / guitar work leaves me cold. Still, all the luck in the world to them. They definitely deserve to be more celebrated, and heard outside Dundee, that's for sure!
