  1. He's good, but that's just plain wrong.
  2. Should be there! I might be on my own and paying with coppers though.
  3. Algernon Cadwallader - Demo Fuck Buttons - Street Horrrsing Okay - Huggable Dust Kidcrash - Jokes
  4. This is the final year, yeah? No wonder really. It feels like it's been the same bands for the last 5 years.
  5. Lovesick - Discography Callers - s/t Hop Along, Queen Ansleis - Freshman Year Wait - Say It, Come True Sleepytime Trio - Memory Minus William Martyr 17 - The Celebration Of Forever
  6. You can listen to 2 songs on their Last fm, 1993 and The Greater Than Symbol And The Hash; Clicky
  7. What is the attraction of this band? Every song sounds like someone shouting badly over an old television with no signal.
  8. I quite like some of Earth's earlier material, but i got about 25 seconds into this and had to turn it off, absolutely dire. Erughhhhh. I'm tired of everyone banging on about Earth, as well, and pretty much anything related to Southern Lord. What's with all the scene kids suddenly jumping onto all this? I'm such a miserable bastard.
  9. Do kids still listen to Lostprophets these days...?
  10. skramz. The most annoying 'term' in music pretty much ever.
  11. Horses In The Sky was a really great record, and ace to see done live with everyone singing and stuff. The new one is pure pants though. No idea what's going on there.
  12. Unpleasant Places reminds me of Braid, Hug The Coast reminds me of Death Cab.
  13. The new stuff is a little disappointing...!
  14. Vladislav Delay - Whistleblower BARR - Summary Thanksgiving - Thanksgiving
  15. Xiu Xiu have been added. Brilliant! I really like The Octopus Project.
  16. I really dislike the whole craze over Ed Banger records. It's not that i particularly dislike the music they put out, it's more the people that listen to it (i know, yeah, that sounds pretty bad). When i think of Ed Banger records, i just see 15 year old girls thinking Justice are the first group to ever use 'computers' in their music. Anyway, i don't know if you'd call them dance, but, The Field, Apparat, Vitalic, Bola, The Flashbulb, Kelpe, -Ziq etc..., Mu, Basic Channel and Kompact records are all great. I've also been listening to the latest LCD soundsystem while running, and it's pretty good. Oh, and the new Clark record is way more dance orientated than Body Riddle. Pretty good though.
  17. Oh, well this is highly embarrassing! I feel quite bad now, Sorry! For some reason i was looking for folk upstairs, i must not been listening when you said to get you at the bar. It was actually my first time in Snafu, total n00b i know, but i'll definitely be along again. I'm away to Glasgow this weekend but i might hit it in two weeks time. I'll probably be at the rescheduled Gravenhurst date as well.
  18. Yep, same. Really really loved the Haho set. Colemine was especially good. The next band sounded like a horrible concoction of The Subways and The Automatic, which pretty much made me want to vom. I really digged the Frightened Rabbit stuff on record, but live it was terrible. The drums were too loud, and the guitar was just "Fuzzzzzzzzzzzzz." Also, the last song lasted about half an hour. Also - I was cheated out of a fiver at the desk. I went back up straight away as soon as i realised, they told me to come back at the end of gig but everyone had buggered off.
  19. It'll be Mogwai for sure. It's the barra's for this, aye? Man, i hate that place so much. Eits sounded absolutely terrible on Sunday side.
