They may be amongst the best of a bad bunch but that is no sort of commendation for them. As an ex-employee, I've got more than enough jaw-dropping stories of complete & utter incompetence, impotence & avoidance of doing their duty - as well as many tales of high-handed intervention & quite unwarranted interference in areas where they had no duty or legal responsability/basis to act.

I saw them in Brixton last year & frankly, they were nearly the lowest point of a bill full of bands who were plumbing the depths mercilessly. The new singer put me right off. Not a patch on Cornwell & no amount of hurling abuse & bating members of the audience can make up for it. Which is a pity, cos I love the Stranglers of old & have seen them many times over the years.

One thing I've really liked about this board is the relative absence of Conspiraloons. Not bothered to watch it but I wouldn't be surprised if this is another example of the fact-free preposterous shite that is constantly dished-up by these guys.
