I have a Moon guitar. A very interesting one at that. It's called 'Rhubarb & Custard' it's a one off which was featured in the Guitarist mag (I think is was that mag) several years ago. You are correct, not much people know about them. It's quite a nice guitar. H/S/S from the bridge.

I suppose that's a good point. Niall123, you can use the 'Scaletric Heros' if you want. After all it's just a plastic toy game, like quite a few muso's on this forum. Your singer could convert one of those snazy hand controls from the 70's into a mic.

I was not allowed to call the band Scalextric Heros...pity! You just need to look at some of the flyers going along the top of this forum to see some really 'deep and meaningfull' band names. Some folk need to lighten up a bit.

It's not that bad a name. Some people get to serious about band names. My fav was Scalextric Heros or Cobb Webb and the Spiders.

SS amps would be better than nothing. I played many SS amps and they sound ok to get by with. Ok they ain't got 'mojo' but twanging on a unplugged Les Paul gets a boring after a while.

Hmmm! Interesting. I remember getting a Crass LP (Live) and listening to 'Banned From the Roxy' and thinking that it was not bad. I've not played it for years. I play the Bollocks album at least 2-3 a week....says something I think.

It's a quailty 36 quid tape deck, so I think you are a bit off the mark saying it's the tape mate. Hate is a strong word and should not be used about another person. However, I can see where you are coming from about PW. But early Jam is the mutts nuts!

Being a old geezer, I put together a tape for the car. I put some ska on it and was enjoying the drive. However, Night Boat to Cairo came on, and I thought I noticed the intro speeding up. Now for those of you that know me I am not known for my tempo skills (human metronome I'm not). Has anyone noticed this, do you think it's supposed to do it? It's mostly the guitar chop that seems to do it. Another thing I noticed lately. just after the intro to 'down at the tubestation' by the jam. There's something funny going on with the bass intro. What is that supposed to be??? It drives me mad!
