    Boss me 50

I've got a Dunlop classic wah I'd be up for trading. Give me a shout.
  2. Any chance you could fire up some photos of the 52 tele??
  3. Household insurance covering possessions outside of your house? That's new to me, but yeah I'll look into it for sure. Thanks for the info.
  4. Yeah you're totally right, not leaving gear in a car is 100% the best way to avoid having your gear half inched by some scabby tinkers. I had just found myself being put in said unavoidable situations in the past, so thought some form of "just in case" backup may be in order. 240 a year does seem harder to swallow than 20 a month though. Hmm??
  5. Musicguard. They were really nice about it too. You have to have an alarm on your car and not have any gear out in the open mind you, but I think 20 a months worth it.
  6. Indeed it does but make me an offer....
  7. BRAND NEW Gibson SG Standard (Ebony) Guitars, Guitar Amplifiers for Sale Aberdeen Aberdeen Says it all really.
  8. There"s a guy on Youtube called "sflogicninja" who does some pretty good tutorials. I've been working my way through the Logic Pro 9 training books at work and they are pretty helpful (although can be pretty dry at times). Another site that I've found useful in the past is Apple - Support - Logic Pro. If you search the discussion forums whenever you get stuck, chances are someones came across the same thing and got an answer. Like you say though, learning as you work on a project is probably the best way to do it. If you need any help just drop me an PM.
  9. Any joy with shifting the cab yet Ronz? Any chance you could throw out a figure for what you'd be after for it? I'm gonna be pretty skint for the foreseeable future but could maybe swing you like 170 for it.
  10. I should hopefully have one of these badboys heading my way soon. Orange Thunder 30 - Available to order End of August!!! Affa excited bout it!
  11. The headstock looks like an actual shit! Ace!!
  12. I'm away to sell/recycle my old iMac 17" G5 isight with Apple. They're offering me 150 which seems really cheap, so before I send it off if anyone would like it for 150 please let me know. It's in cracking condition and recently had a screen replacement so should be good for a wee while yet. I've used this with Logic to record demos for the last 5 years and it's not missed a beat. If you check out "she moves without tension" demo on our myspace page, this machine was used to record and mix that. Go on grab a bargain. I want to buy a bike! Here is a link to a photo of my model of imac. http://bindapple.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/cheap-used-imac.jpg
  13. Yeah sounds good. I'll have a hunt for the CS-3 box but I won't hold my breath, it's been on my pedalboard for a while. PM me your number and I'll get in touch.
  14. I'd be up for trading my boss cs-3 for the flanger. Give us a shout if your keen.
  15. I think the pickup may be dodgey, cause it's a microphonic squeel it makes at loud volume and only buzzes like fuck when near electrical equipment. I think I'm gonna order me a kinman on payday. Not heard a bad thing about them and should keep my tele sounding like a tele.
  16. Totally. If EMG's are good enough for Gilmour I reckon they'd do me just dandy. My tele's a 72 reissue (but a good een for being Mexican) so it's got a humbucker in the neck which I actually really like. Because it's got seperate volume/tone pots for the bridge and neck, do you reckon I could replace the pots for the bridge emg and keep the neck pickup without too much hassle? I need to do my homework.
  17. I've got one of these in my teles bridge and while it sounds great it's noisy as fuck. Has anybody had much experience with stacked/noise canceling tele bridge pickups. I've been looking at EMG's and while they seem to sound decent from the widdly youtube videos, I don't think I could get past the Metallica endorsments and what have you. Affa metal. I'm just after a nice, traditional sounding tele pickup which is as silent as a humbucker. Any thoughts??
  18. To be honest I completely agree with your drunk (but perfectly coherent, well done sir!!) previous post. I can't talk for my fellow bandmates but I personally think of recording and playing live in a really different way. Live I just like to give it tits whereas when recording, Paddy and I just try to best capture the tunes to the best of our ability. It was our first time recording ourselves with this EP and next time I think we'll give more thought to better capturing the live band dynamic. Thanks for the kind words and genuinely useful feedback. Runcie.
  19. We're going to be having a chat on Northsound One this Sunday about our wee CD too, so tune in if you're in and have a radio kickin about.
  20. You not considered your screamy sound waves might vibrate the strings which in turn makes a warble oot your amp ken!!
