  1. I've been meaning to get round to buying a set of the NS10 copies that Studiospares make. I had a hunt for reviews online and they seem pretty decent for the cost of them. http://www.studiospares.com/studio-monitors/studiospares-classic-sn10/invt/248000/
  2. I've a Marshall 1960 BV I'd perhaps be willing to part with. I've gigged it only a few times and it's in great condition. £350 would seal the deal, but as the month goes on and I end up living off super noodles and sugar water I may be open to negotiation.
  3. If it's still here come the 26th I'll happily take it off your hands.
  4. I got a Visual Sounds Jeckyl n Hyde 2 a while back and it's the business. Would totally recommend.
  5. Sorry to ask on a "for sale" thread but did you notice much of a difference with the US saddles? It's a bonny guitar.
  6. Ha ha I think it probably was on here that I stumbled across them. My memory's been getting proper bad as of late, I think some brain training on the DS is urgently needed. Cheers for the reply though, I'm defo gonna take a punt. That humbucker in my tele's neck has sounded like pure baws since the day I bought it.
  7. Here you are sir. Tis a bonny guitar at that. http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/epiphone-gibson-les-paul-standard/106728110
  8. So I was having a hunt for a humbucker sized P90 to slap in the neck of my Tele and stumbled across these guys. Just wondering if anyones ever tried any of them in real life? All the reviews I've found online seem to be pretty glowing and for £25 it seems like a right bargain. Too good to be true perhaps? http://www.irongear.co.uk/index.html
  9. It's a Marshall 1922. Same as this one. http://www.andertons.co.uk/speaker-cabinets/pid17622/cid690/marshall-1922-2x12-speaker-cabinet.asp
  10. Hallelujah took me bloody ages to learn properly. It totally helped me with fingerpicking technique though, and it's a good one to bust out if your trying to impress lassies with your mad guitar skillz! If only I could sing. The last while I've just been sifting through Spotify looking for decent tunes then sitting down and trying to work them out. You can never have good enough lugs!
  11. Cheers Sam, got your message. Pried has first dibs though I'm afraid and I'm meant to be meeting up tomorrow. I'll fire your mate a text if anything changes though. I agree £1000 is a mental price for them. Marshall pricings went mental though! I bought a new TSL 60 (which sounded crap compared to the DSL IMO) in 2005 for £460 and they're like £740 now. Don't get me started on the price of a can of coke and a mars bar!!!!
  12. Indeed SodaJerk. For a new one you'd be looking at £989 on GAK. Come on dudes I've got a new computer to buy! http://www.gak.co.uk/en/marshall-dsl-100-head/4358?gclid=CMuT9_jj77ACFUxlfAodZC_gyA
  13. Due to this thing just sitting around taking up room in my front cupboard I'm gonna drop the price to £300. It really is a nice wee amp.
  14. Here are some photos. I think you have to be logged in to Facebook to view them. Any problems fire me a message and I can email you them. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151052511427125.489290.768507124&type=3
  15. Hello. I've got a Macbook 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (unibody) for sale. It's recently had its display, top and bottom case replaced by Apple so is in "as new" cosmetic condition and has been given a clean bill of health. I've also upped the RAM to 8gb so it can handle sampler plugins etc like a total boss! The battery has been through a fair few charge cycles and now lasts around 3 hours when browsing the web. I've been checking out eBay over the past few weeks and the going rate seems to be £400-£450. I'm in no real rush to sell this (cause no-ones got the new retina pros in stock), so the first to offer £400 will get themselves a cracking computer. I'll also throw in a sexy Propellerheads computer sleeve to sweeten the deal. Thanks Runcie.
  16. Yeah to the best of my knowledge, nothing from that console log talks about getting a server response to close. Did it close bang on 13:04? I'd try binning theAppleVerizonSupportKicker.kext to see if that helps. Failing that I'd try booting to safe mode (holding down ⇧ on startup) to see if that'll stop it closing be itself. If it works in safe mode then a backup and selective reinstall will hopefully sort it out. If not then it's Ableton being a prick. Good luck
  17. I've a Yamaha THR5 and I absolutely love it. Kick in at £159 from GAK too. http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/guitars-basses/amps/thr/thr5/
  18. Yeah if it's a dodgy copy Ableton'll can ping the server every now and then and close when it realises it's not legit (same with cracked Adobe stuff). If you look in console (in your utilities folder) you might be able find out a bit more about when and why it's happening.
  19. USB and Firewire 400 are pretty much the same speed in the real world.
  20. You're not after a guitar amp are you? I've got a DSL 100 I'm looking to move on.
  21. Again I'm open to offers for this fab piece of Marshally goodness.
  22. Well you should buy this DSL! The moment you see blue and your not on stage you can run straight to your car, grab a trolley jack and wait for the wee dosser outside.
