  1. i'm defo there. muse and pearl jam <3 also - last year was pretty much the most fun ever.
  2. mine would be when it was "kendal mountian film festival" hosted where i used to work and it seemed like literally every climber in the country wanted to buy soup from the cafe staffed by me and one other person. it was carnage - people were sat on the floor becasue there was no room, we ran out of bowls, then spoons, then soup. i then had many hungry/angry bearded men and and hairy women on my back. so shit.
  3. million dead said: Stop trying to pretend that you are going to stop – you’re either a smoker or you’re not. You will keep on smoking for the rest of your life, and then you’ll get cancer and then you’ll die. I can stop whenever I please and anyway, I’m immune to emphysema and heart disease. My diary says tomorrow is the day I quit and I’m going to stick with that. Little itches need no stitches but they bury you – if you keep on scratching you’ll go right through. Whiskey for the amputee is just the thing to ease the sting. I’ll work my way down to the end of this pack, and then I’m leaving this place and I’m never coming back again. I’ve got a list of things to get round to. I’ve got a list of all the things I shouldn’t do. I know it by heart, I’ve got the damn thing in my pocket, but despite myself it’s the middle of the night and I am round at your house again, trying to pretend that I am going to stop. I’m either a smoker or I’m not… You will keep on smoking for the rest of my life, and don’t I know it: my favourite fatal weakness. I’ll work my way down to the end of this pack, and then I’ll leave this place and I’m never coming back. I’ll see you around, somewhere in town, or next time I’m down, probably right here. completly irrelivant post. BYE/

    Neighbours!

i was sat on a train a few weeks ago across from a girl who looked exactly like skye. i wanted to ask her something to hear her accent to check. also - how old is rachel supposed to be?
  6. woop, thought i'd bump this cos it is next week! i have to say tho - the new song is quite poor. I am going for "old times sake" really - LTJ were basically the soundtrack to being 13/14
  7. OMG let me just remind everyone that i went to the same school as 3/5 of BSP and one memeber of the brakes. SOOO SCENE.
  8. erm: million dead - a song to ruin at the drive in - this station is non-operational jimmy eat world - clarity propagandhi- today's empires, tomorrow's ashes alexisonfire - watch out!
  9. if you were "lynne" you are a legend. we complimented you on your shirt! hehe anyway, i think i have said this in another thread but yeah - bromheads were really ace! a lot of fun, great music, and brilliant with the crowd. i would definatly see them again when they come back. stage invasion = the most fun.

  11. i saw the beat a year or so ago in kendal, so brilliant!
  12. i am really really enjoying the album, the guy's voice is really ace and the songs are just so damn catchy! I have never seen them live (gutted) but they've played here i few times i think ( supporting the subways i think?). Thoughts guys?
  13. a couple of my friends in london have tickets. i would go if it wasn't that expensive, i might go to V festival and catch them then instead.
  14. Anyone remember mistakes.in.animation from the Frank Turner gig back in january? Well they are playing again. A two-man band of voice, guitar and viola, playing catchy acoustic music! http://www.myspace.com/mistakesinanimation Next on will be Tempercalm, an exciting indie rock band from glasgow. Kerrang! said : "...Destined for big things..." and when has kerrang ever been wrong!?!! hehe http://www.myspace.com/tempercalm And Finnaly, we have The Fez , a very cool, rocky party post-hardcore band. I could try and describe this band all day, it's impossible, you really can't put this band's sound into words. Give 'em a listen: http://www.myspace.com/thefez These three will be playing at Cafe Drummonds on April 19th. Door tax: 3 We are still hoping to find a local band to play first ( after the band that was booked went a split up!!) so if your interested, pm me! See ya there!
  15. this really deserve's a bump. still gutted about missing it. oh, and if anyone is interested i have a live recording of Frank Turner covering "When the Huntsmen comes a-marching". It's bloody good. ( Frank Turner, Gabby Young, Michelle Lewis @ Drummonds, 22nd april!)
