  1. you need a band profile, not a personal one.
  2. they were great at the tunnels last time, i will definatly be seeing them again.
  3. how long does it take to get there? and is there anyway to get there via public transport?
  4. haha, sorry. best typo eva. *spilt, not split luv.
  5. haha, when i wrote "L4" in title , i OBV meant ""RHL" as in right hand left. SORREEEeeeeee.
  6. Last night at the Tunnels. I thought all three bands were excelent. Edgar Prais have some brilliant songs, and they sounded even better live - fuller and heavier. Poor Kris tho, getting knocked out on the first song! "You and Me" or "Pop Song 93" were my favourites i think. RHL didn't disappoint, as usual. Great new tune too! I really enjoyed Captain too. I had only heard the single "broke", but thought they had a great sound. They were all really nice people too - they signed the vinyl and CD case for me. Here are a few pics i took (only got pics of captain). katyx

    Snp

I, being from england, automatically connected the SNP with the BNP (stupidly, i know) and maybe this is where the impression that racists vote for the SNP come from, as this is the general opinon of BNP voters. What are the SNP's main policies (apart from Scotish independence)? Also - this is quite interesting to do: http://www.politicalcompass.org/ don't know if it's been posted before...
  14. it is getting quite pathetic when its "cool" for bands to say "FUCKK ddaaaAAA SSsssYYssSSTTEEMMM!!" and say "BUUUUSSSSSHHHH izzz WELL RUBBISH!" and bands make money/global success from this e.g. green day etc
  15. On of my dad's next photography exibitions is based around this convention. I was looking at some of the pictures he took last night - some people have really weird/strange tattoo's (my favourite has to be the bottle of HP brown sauce).
  16. ermmm i heard sonic boom six are playing on the same day at drummonds and i also heard they are supporting at this gig. are either of those true? i really hope the latter is. can't wait for this gig.
  17. Most refused songs, most propagandhi songs, a good few million dead songs. best has to be "i am the party" by million dead - a song about politics "taking the piss" out of politcial bands : " Well you can tell by the way I move my feet that I’m a genuine insurrectionary - it’s a kind of nervous shuffle that contrasts so well with Bolshevik bravado. And you can tell by the way I raise my hand - not in a fist but for a question. Take out your manifestos and then put them away. I implore you to ignore every word I say. And if my status as a figure on a stage implies authority, I hope my caution and my age belies my humility, and will to take my rage and try to turn myself into a one-man landslide. Let’s kick it off with a leafleting campaign and follow it up with some public meetings, pressing flesh and kissing babies as I smile and promise things are getting better. I am the party, the apparatchik and the grey bureaucracy. I am the secret police, manufacturing a constituency that doesn’t answer back. I found these words in my bedroom underneath old magazines. And I found this voice in my record collection - distorting tapes kicked analysis awake. You found this song but you didn’t question - swallowed the sleeve but didn’t see my tongue inside my cheek. I am the Politburo, but I am the Velvet Revolution, a Budapest kick from fifty-six and so: let’s all go hand in hand to the local polling station and make our own categories, then vote for ourselves."
