Glad you enjoyed The Gabby Young Collective - they were brilliant. I had listened to them quite a lot recorded in the past but live Gabby's voice just blew me away. She and the rest of the band are thourghly nice people too! Frank's set was awesome - "Worse things happen at sea" (which frank played for the very first time at the last aberdeen gig) and "my dad's a cunt" were brillaint - this was the first time i'd heared it. Only one million dead song this time, and not many covers. Oh and if people are looking for recordings of these songs go to www.frank-turner.com and go to the boards - there are plenty of live recordings and stuff around. I cannot wait for the new EP - "Campfire Punk Rock" to come out.

tonight i am off to drummonds for a night of listening/hanging out with Frank Turner who (to anyone who knows me) is very fucking exciting as i am obbsessed with him/million dead. i have to try and get soundchecks and all the bands on and off very quickly so it's probably gonna be quite stressful - but frank finishs at abour 11 and then we can just get hidiously drunk! any suggests where we should go out afterwards that is free? we might just stay in drummonds and watch the other bands. hhhmm. :):)

I am interested! would of loved to of been there... at least i get to see them at leeds, but its not really the same.

aww it was great to see failsafe again! (they were all quite shocked when i had told them i first saw them over 2 years ago in a pub in kendal). i'm giving the album its first listen now - it is sounding good! jesse james were ok - nothing special in my opinion - but they are good at what they do and the crowd were definatly enjoying it.

He has quite a lot of new material and will be selling his new E.P. did anyone else here the version of "Nashville Tennesse" he did with Dive Dive on Radio one?

anyone know what time failsafe will be on btw?

Dig! is a fucking ace film. I would love to see them live actually - just to see crazy anton! He seemed very talented - and the music in the film was very ace but i have not listened to anything else by them.

i love reuben too. million dead did a similar thing with there LIVING THE DREAM vidoe and got all the "boardies" down and they all got dressed up in glam rock outfits to be the audience. wish i could of been there....

i love this band, funeral is an awesome album. i am so gutted i got too drunk and forgot to watch them at leeds last year. idiot.
