The Bervie Chipper actually in Bervie was really good about 10 years ago (I lived a mile south of it), but the amount of ownership changes have obviously had an effect on the quality because the last two/three I've had were rank rotten. The one in Stonehaven is shite, the one in Arbroath was worse! Best chippy I've had in recent times was the one on Elgin high street - can't remember the name of the place, but that was a great black pudding.......

I used to play on Poker Room quite a lot, but the problem is that most internet players are blindly naive and overly gung-ho (can't see their faces either), so you can't screw that much money out of them. You can't bluff on the internet either, which is the bit I enjoy most. Nothing beats playing at a real table......

I know another exiled Thistle fan who's been in Livingston for much of his working life and only knows two 'Lavvy PLC' fans (one of which was a Meadowbank supporter anyway). AS - You might have Graham Rix, but he's isn't as big a fuck up as our boss as far as I'm concerned......

I went to Laurencekirk, it was like a fucking cattle truck in the Crown by the time I got there. Awesome night, until I realised I was going to have to walk to my parents house 14 miles away (across the fucking Garvock to boot)........

The huns got the easiest draw possible, still think they're heading out though! Some fucking brilliant ties in there (any excuse to go to the pub, etc....).

Pretty good gig, SYL were by far the better band, and Gene Hoglan's drumming was just something else (Daniel Erlandsson is quite handy, but had fuck all compared to him!). Arch Enemy were shit, had a handful of good ideas, but dozens of shite ones........

It makes the world go round (and brings has-beens to the Old Firm).

An interesting evening....... Missed the first four bands because I went to Hog's Head (no, not his) to watch the Milan derby - awesome game of football despite the piss-poor referee..... Got back for E106, don't know if it's the best I've seen them, but they were on their game. Didn't bother with MMW, went for a chippy instead. Thought we had a bit of an 'off' night, no particular reason why. Roll on next year..........

Not long back from the 4-1 win at Ochilview, although the scoreline won't tell you that a) we should have been 3-0 down after 20 minutes, b) the Thistle defence was fucking awful (again), and c) goals 3 and 4 were scored past very tired Stenny defenders.....
