I have an exam the day after this. RAGRHARGRHAGAHRGRHAGRHHGH. fuck.

It was packed last time... I'd imagine that it'd be even more so this time, but, as the weather would prove; Aberdeen's an unpredictable place.

Surely he just doesn't scream 'cause it would totally screw up his vocals and therefore make it a bit hard to sing the more recent stuff? I mean, he was like, sixteen at the time of Captain/HiI so, y'know, of course he's going to scream a bit, now he's just grown out of that voice... maybe, that's just what I think; I'm no doctor, don't take this for gold. Either way, I thought it was fantastic. Acoustic Self-Healer was just ace, and they played pretty much everything I wanted them to. How long was the set though? They said it was going to be a bit longer, but, I wasn't counting, they must've been on for well over an hour and a half though? The support weren't bad either, particularly enjoyed towards the end of their set. ...and, I like how the crowd were relatively un-lively until he was like, "You realise we're recording this show for the DVD, right?" and then everyone just went mad. I think the only thing that could've made it better would be the whole of 100BW, but that's never going to happen.

When/if they play "Drove Through Ghosts To Get Here" do people moan along?

Next gig is Hundred Reasons, then Daniel Flay with me putting on the gig, so, I'm kind of anxious/excited for that, then BEN FOLDS which I am most looking forward to, then Frank Turner, which is another one which will be good -That's January. February's a bit more calm with Forward Russia and then The Killers -both of which I am quite looking forward to. Then, in March it's Idlewild, which, I am VERY excited about.

Aye, first time round starting with After the Rush Hour was ace. Shame he didn't play Sunshine State too. Although, he did play Worse Things Happen At Sea, which, is ace and the new stuff is fookin' whaa. Enjoy the night a lot, got Holy Folks to agree to play for me on the 11th of January at Drummonds, if they don't get a better offer, and yes, Dufus were a bit strange, I spoke to the girl in the toilets about how strange that double toilet cubicle is (what's with that?) and FatRB are a bit scary. ...but, yeah. Looking forward to buying the album and seeing him in January. (Y)
