  1. I asked at One Up; they said quite confidently that it was 18+. Forgot to ask Tunnels when I was there, I'll ask next time. ...Unless, there's a fo' sho' thing on it here? Also, if it is; I don't want to sell my tickets. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME? :'(
  2. I don't THINK I've ever met Graeme... I spoke briefly to one of, who I thought was the promoters, at the last TMS gig... he didn't look particularly old.
  3. Ah, that'd be quite... strange. Surely they'd be like... PROPA' expensive though, no? Hopefully more of a crowd this time, though, it was hardly empty last time, mind. Are you telling me, you've actually been on the internet and you DON'T know what a "n00b" is?!
  4. To be fair, being a 15-year-old girl, I probably wouldn't even be done for the kiddy porn.
  5. If anything, sharing and downloading music HELPS smaller bands. I know if I hadn't gotten an album from my friend and ripped it to my computer I probably wouldn't have gotten into that band which means I wouldn't be encouraged to actually buy some of their stuff. ...and yeah. How much money, from CD sales goes to the label and then the actual band themselves?
  6. Biffy. ...and lots and lots of 'daysofstatic.
  7. Why would Why? support? Edit: On last.fm it has this under the 24th. I sense a n00b.
  8. The only thing in Glasgow I really want to go to is that Ballads of the Book alldayer. Although, I'm kind of just hoping I can go to the gigs in Aberdeen first.
  9. ...was that correcting my turn of phrase or... what?
  10. The question is; why didn't you put it on your computer before it broke? The only reason I put all my music on my PC is because sitting with a CD player and changing CDs and stuff just takes so much effort. It's nice to just have EVERYTHING in front of you so that you can quickly skip songs and stuff.
  11. True, true. I spent the whole journey from Glasgow listening to them; they make fantastic "in the car, looking out the window" music. Weren't colonopenbracket the support last time?
  12. Alright, cheers. I really don't see the point in having over 18s gigs in over 14s venues.
  13. ...They look like they're trying to get auditions for Edward Scissorhands' less attractive little brother.
  14. You just can't win with these music/law types. *shakes head*
  15. That's total bollocks imo. If you buy the CD and it's broken to hell; sure, download it. Radiohead aren't going to die out anytime soon. ...and, this uploading CDs to your PC being illegal is actually taking the piss. What the fuck? Although, I feel bad if I download something and then don't buy albums of their's/go to their gigs. I need to feel like I'm at least TRYING to support the band in some way.
  16. I've asked in another thread, but, is Triptych a strictly over 18s thing? 'cause it's not advertised, but, it's on the tickets. What's going down with that?
  17. RIGHT. I dunno if I'll get more feedback/useful information on the myspazz but I figured I'd ask here first. So, on my tickets (both the 65dos and Micah P Hinson ones) for the triptych events, it says, "Over 18s Only" BUT, this is not advertised on the posters or... anywhere else, really. What's going on, is this actually an over 18s thing?
  18. I have ticket number 7, or, something stupidly low like that. Looks as though it's not going to be a sell-out anytime soon. What was the turnout like last time?
  19. Yep. (< apparently that's too short a post?) Either way; if I can get friends to come with me; you know I'll be there.
  20. I fucking love Peep Show.
  21. Years of mountaineering and experiments. Thank you muchos Neil.
  22. ...can you change mine to just, "Elizabeth", please?
  23. I don't like the Garage in Glasgow purely down to the fact that they stole my (unopened) Fanta and wouldn't give it back to me at the end without a ticket that they didn't give to me in the first place. I quite liked the ABC as a venue. In Aberdeen Tunnels is probably my favourite venue, in Moshulu I can never usually hear the vocals that well, same with Kef, but, there have been times. Drummonds the vocals are mostly pretty clear I find. ...but, I just like the general atmosphere of Tunnels opposed to the other venues.
