  1. Both of those are top of the class. That's the sort of gubbins I aspire to. It's a way of life for me - I've been using Photoshop for 8 years now - since version 3.0 - It never used layers and had hardly any interface - how it's changed over the years! I don't think half the stuff I produce would be as good on a film camera. RAW + CS2 is an essential! My motto is "you can polish a turd with Photoshop."
  2. Cracking album - one of my faves too. Much better than the patchy and badly recorded debut or mess that is Music For Pleasure. The "reformed" lineup (Vanian, Captain, Scabies and Patricia Morrison) played Glow (now Kef) in 2000 when the fantastic Grave Disorder album came out. The newer lineup with Pinch on drums and Monty the Moron on keys have played The Forum and more recently Moshulu but are still too big for Cafe Drummonds! Every time they have been absolutely brilliant - still one of the best live bands around with banter most groups would kill for. And Vanian, like a fine wine, gets better with age!

And I agree with you. If they continue to build (and I am pretty much certain they will) like they have been since Smith took over I can see them overtaking what has now become an extremely patchy Celtic side. Boyd is on track to break every record in the book and probably will now he is getting support up front and quality crosses to finish. Hey, I used to hate Dempsey as well, dude, but when you look at what he brings to the team he is a useful player to have. He can certainly pass the ball as good as if not better most of the team and can take better free kicks than most. When they play side by side would someone who knows nothing about the club be able to pick out the 250,000 Barry Nicholson and the "nominal fee" Gary Dempsey?

What we "should" have and have "got" has not always matched up, though. We haven't always had 50 / 50 home / away fixtures. The only "seeding" that takes is a "projected final place" decided by the morons at the SPL BEFORE the season even kicks off. If a team performs better or worse than projected they will fit in their fixtures accordingly. They then look at the previous season(s) to see if any club has been hard done by and try to adjust accordingly. It is a load of bullshit and shows the split to be a waste of time. Just heard they may announce the fixtures today as the top and bottom six are obviously now determined. We'll see what happens............

They have dropped two points since Walter Smith took over, beat Celtic at Parkhead and lost a UEFA last 16 place on a single goal. I despise Rangers as much as any Aberdeen fan, but I'm afraid they have sustained good form (in the SPL anyway) and you're dreaming if you think over - confidence will be their downfall. Kris Boyd is scoring for fun now he has support in the form of Prso. Hutton is on fire. Davey Weir is mopping up crosses for fun like a stroll in the park and even Ferguson is showing some form. Rangers are building for next season and I can't see them dropping many more points before the end of the season. To be honest the way we bricked it after going up against Hearts doens't bode well for the increased pressure in the forthcoming fixtures. I blame Jimmy partly as he is perpetually compelled to tinker with the formation even when we are playing well. If you think Killie at Rugby Park will be a cuffing you're kidding yourself. They will be hurting and despearte to play well. They have beaten us there this season already. Chances are we will get 3 away and 2 home games. From what I've heard and through common sense (and the fact we got three home games last season) Hibs away Killie at home Celtic away Rangers at home Hearts away Is a probable fixture list. Also, Setanta would be keen to keep us and Hearts till the end of the season as there will be a possibility of a third place showdown final game of the season. It's going to be very tough.

Absolutely, dude. Tackling, passing - his general distribution was outstanding. Awareness, positioning - he had it all in spades. I thought he was a better player than Anderson. Controversial, but he had it all in my book. I said i'd eat my hat when we got a better battling midfielder than Rico then Bisconti came along. I said the same when Bisco left. Same deal with Heikkey but unfortunatley I feel my hat will be safe for a long time He's still ripping it up at Luton. From their official site: A revelation in Luton Towns excellent first season in Championship football, Markus continued to add to his international caps with Finland, including 4 World Cup Qualifier appearances against Macedonia, Romania and the Czech Republic, partnering Liverpool star Sami Hyypia in Finlands rearguard. Markus was rewarded for his outstanding campaign with no less than four awards the Player of the Year trophy, Players Player of the Season, Internet Player of the Season and the Luton News Player of the Season. Although I think he's injured just now looking at his awards for last season shows he is a true class act.

Someone hard as fuck who won't back out of a challenge maybe, but we don't want no dirty players. Look at Kingston last week. That's what dirty players do to your team in the long run. A Rico or Bisconti. Or please bring back Heikenen. Who would be dynamite in our current team. Sigh.

    Rangers v Aberdeen

It's no surprise. Aberdeen simply bottle it every time they go to Ibrox. It's utterly tragic and all we are going to have to look forward to for the forseeable future is a battle for third place every season and the hope of a cup win which we haven't done for 12 years now. The fact that Aberdeen never made a clear gap on Rangers when they were playing the worst football i've certainly ever seen tells a story. Also remember our shite results and dissapointment despite claims of grandeour from Jimmy at the start of the season - If we hadn't drawn with United, Caley and St fucking Mirren we could have been in prime Champions Leauge position. I think yesterday's defeat crystalised Rangers return to the big time and put us in our place. The fact that the Radio Scotland team bigged it up so much and had two analysers in the studio showed they were treating it as a crunch game which would determine whether Abedreen could mount a serious Champions League bid or not. And we blew it. Like we always do at Ibrox. The fight for third place is on but we'll have to bounce back at Rugby Park and really take the game to United at Pittodrie. I just fear we will get nervous like we did when we went one up against Hearts. Trying to be positive but it's tough as we have shown signs of improvement this season but it always boils down to the same old same old. And my biggest fear is that Russ has blown his Scotland chance. You can just see McNee's smug face on Scotsport saying something like - "Anderson has proven he can't handle the pressure and doesn't deserve a place in the starting line - up." It'll stand out despite his remarkable performances this season. It's ace fun being a Don.

It is. You just have to look for it It's certainly nae on Setanta or Sky. I get as carried away as anyone but I just can't see it happening the morn. I hope I'm wrong, but I've been dissapointed for 16 years so I just cannot see what is different this time. My dream would be Super Stevie Lovell scoring a minute from time, but you can but dream..........

It will be shown in a few pubs. You just have to look for it! I'd rather walk accross hot coals with my cock in a beehive than go to Ibrox so i'll try and seek it out. I don't think we have a hope the morn. 16 years is a long time to go without a win, but I cannae see it happening tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong. Hearts might slip up so it might not be a disaster.
  12. I have all of the pre - In Your Honor ones (some of the 12"s too.) Only got the red This Is A Call. I've got I'll Stick Around 7" as well - think that was a blue(?) vinyl. Spill the beans of the trade and I'll listen.

    the fall

Curiousoooooooooooo Orangeoooooooooooo! I wanted to go for the hit the northness but I can't afford the buckage. I'm sure it'll be an interesting night - The interview he gave recently was very approving of Aberdeen. Enjoy.
  14. Good skills min! In all seriousness I just think it's one of the best deals I've ever seen and thought it would be cool if some of you guys could share the wealth. I paid 15 a month to Tisali for "unlimited 2mb broadband." They fucked up the spelling of my name because the twat who took my call didn't want me to spell my name so I was left with an irrelevant username and email address which pissed me off before they even got going. I was blacklisted and put on a "heavy user" tariff after 4 months without warning then was told I had received previous warnings from them which was completely false. It then took almost two solid weeks of phoning a call centre in a country where their first language is clearly not English to get a migration code and everything cancelled. Sky had me rigged up within a week of calling and sent me a free wireless router and 12 months free Mcafee Security Centre. I pay 5 a month for 8mb broadband with a 40gb cap. I got my proper name as my username. The call centre is in the U.K and the staff are most helpful. Anyways, glad you are happy, Dusty - It's a great deal and shows up the other companies as the rip offs they really are. Cheers, Mr S.Ky
  15. I would if I could! To further your amusement Sky + is now all rigged up with multiroom! Oh yes, the shares will become handy one day!
  16. Live at Budokan is a great place to start - one of the finest live albums ever. Make sure you get the expanded "Full concert" edition. "Come On, Come On" is a song I always seem to listen to, but they have loads and loads of fantastic songs. They really are the "Rock Beatles." And they make fantastic t - shirts. Everything about Cheap Trick is ace.
  17. It's fuckin' ace, isn't it! And only a fiver a month!
  18. I'm certain I had a speccy game that sounded exactly like the backing track on that noise.
  19. Result! Good booking skills! Can I buy a ticket at the Bassment and avoid a booking fee? Looking forward to this (if there are no "mishaps" between now and then.)
  20. The Amish Street Preachers. In fact, I think little Sean and Jimmy Dean could pull off the whole robes 'n' beard thing.
  21. I agree. His "characters" irony is somehwat lost in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back as he is pretty much just being himself. A racist bastard. Everybody Hates Chris is also a terrible programme.
  22. You'll have to write a song called "V.B.S" now, Jake! I couldn't get your comment out of my head today in a meeting and almost cracked up a few times! Vertical Bacon Sandwich!!!
  23. I'll offer you face value + the booking fees since you are not a ticket trader and a fan of the band - from one non touting fan to another. Cheers Marsh.
