  1.:laughing::laughing: You people are SO funny......................... Now, really DO fuck off and get your posting averages up elsewhere, and comment on shows you have actually been to.
  2. No, merely that I HAVE a life, and LIVE it, as opposed to people that have one and do fuck all with it... This webforum is sooo amazingly welcoming, full of respect for new members, and balanced in opinions and attitudes. Really, if You DONT like something, fuck off and find something You DO like.
  3. People that post such negativity are in need of pity. Such small mindedness... awwwwww................ shame.... Perhaps they should extricate themselves from the siamese symbiosis with forums and see what the wider world outside their sad existence could possibly offer them.. Conversely, perhaps they have already attempted this, and concluded that they are not sufficiently equipped to deal, or communicate, with people, especially in ways other than through electronically-based hardware....
  4. Oops.. Sawree........ Passions spilling over... Must learn to control that..... :O
  5. Assholes?? o_O A band doesnt keep going for 17 years, playing up and down the UK, and in Europe and even Japan by being assholes... Im fairly certain that if You played a show to a full and very appreciative house, youd want to get back there as soon as you possibly could... Theyve been back to the Ferry in Glasgow almost every year since 2002.. I think that says enough about that.. Maybe its the management at/promoters for the Lemon Tree that were/are the Assholes.....! And yes, Dressed To Kill ARE entertaining....
  6. Well, 'amusingly repetetive' or otherwise, I certainly succeeded in stirring up some conversation, in spite of the 'staff member' (member = cock?), who still appears unable to offer anything remotely interesting or refreshingly unbiased - how does someone that ridiculous get a 'job' like that?? oh, hang on - he/she/it cannot possibly have a life outside of the internet... And Im not even the pyrotechnicians Girlfriend/wife/shag/bitch/troll.... Love, Natalie.. x
  7. You are SOOO funny! And a staff member too?? ooh, that fills me with confidence that this board is watched over by people that are utterly impartial, and promote conversation, especially from new members.. What a nice welcome.. Could it be that You dont like KISS (or as a wider issue: tribute bands), perchance???
  8. Hmmmm.. I dont think theres a possible argument for NOT booking them, given the response to their appearance last time. It was PACKED. Too much money?? I doubt that, when You take all the other venues they play into consideration; but seeing as they made good their appearance, surely thats enough for ANY promoter/venue owner?? Even if the venue is trying to 'get away' from booking tribute bands, would the venue prefer to open up for comparatively unknown bands that would barely half-fill it, or for a band that is a sure 'hit'?? And Im sure the venue made a mint on the bar that nite too!! *mystified* Natalie...
  9. Good though Kiss Forever might have been, DRESSED TO KILL's delivery (look & sound) is a million times better; and DTK sing and do between song patter with soundalike vocals .. - KFB dont. and thats a big thing, where authenticity is concerned... Of all the UK & European KISS tribute bands going, Gene Simmons personally requested DTK be involved in 'Rock School' - to show the kids what a KISS concert is like. I think that says as much as it needs to...
  10. Did anyone here go to see KISS tribute band DRESSED TO KILL at the Lemon Tree about 5 years ago?? They ROCKED the house- and it was absolutely rammed..... Cant understand why theyve never been booked again - theyve just played Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee, to packed houses... a friend of mine went to the Dundee show and said theyre an even better band now... (is that possible??)..so why no return??? Natalie.
  11. Cheap Trick are GREAT. Incidentally, they supported KISS in 1977.....
  12. KISS tribute band DRESSED TO KILL played the Lemon tree about 5 years ago, and they packed the place - I dont think Ive ever seen so many people there for a bands debut there. They played for about 2 hours and the show ROCKED, and everyone was blown away. So why no repeat booking since?? Natalie..
