  1. Aye the Fowler one was he said to the Ref it wasnt a pen, so he took it softly, but i think Owen smashed in the rebound like the cunt he is. EDIT: Was Jason McAteer who put the rebound in. Owen is still a cunt though.
  2. The UK dates are planned to go ahead just now. Hope they dont end up cancelled, but i shall let you know if they do.
  3. I could have spent 21 far wiser this morning, DU barely created a chance all game, the Dons have no attacking impetus and its shocking when your centre back (Diamond) was the only one who seemed to have any forward drive today.
  4. Wow, that is total bollocks. I would have thought i have been out on a Friday in Aberdeen and needed home since July, seems i must not have!
  5. Im sure you could take a later Stonehaven bus and they would drop you at the stop on the carriageway.
  6. I love a weekend watching sporting contests aswell Ross, reminds me why im overweight....haha
  7. Haha, was the first thing i thought when i saw it! That video is stunning, its difficult to watch.
  8. Or any band like that in Aberdeen? It seems they are from England.
  9. You should probably include a link to your music.
  10. Which means you will be passed out being sick on yourself in East Neuk car park by 9pm and miss Desalvo yeah
  11. If you think that is a 'tired' way of doing things, fair enough, you are entiltled to think that. The truth of the matter is, not that many bands press records (especially up here, I can only think of 4 or 5 who have done a seven inch in recent times, and off the top of my head only one that did a split, possibly two if Filthpact did). The notion that putting out your own record and touring is 'tired' baffles me. A contest on television would have far less impact on real world success to Aberdeen's 'scene', i would put forward that Aberdeen would be regarded in higher thoughts by A+R, record lables, agents etc...if there were alot more bands willing to release their own records/a small Aberdeen label releasing plenty of records and bands working hard on touring, making an actual name for the city. I'm also not going to poo-poo the idea of entering such a contest regardless of my feelings on them, its a personal choice after all. And im sure most people would hope an Aberdeen band did well out of it if they did reach the televised stage of the contest. Also for the record, there are a few bands at the moment from up here attracting good label interest, they have all put out their own stuff or had small labels do it for them and work hard at touring, none have entered any contest to make this happen so you can believe me when i say that people do know this city exists, its just alot easier to sign a similar band from London or Glasgow
  12. Very much so, they only aren't doing Tall Firs because they will be on tour with Hot Club.
  13. They are no longer playing the Tall Firs show shazza.
  14. It was on sky sports extra (sky 404). Wasn't a great match until Del Potro grabbed the 3rd set, got interesting then. Murray had to play a tactical game and it worked out for him in the end. Hope he can do the damage against Nadal, but i fear for the worst.
  15. Major Matt Mason is grand, I hope to be along for that.
  16. It came out when i was about 9 or 10, was scared to death when i saw it. I still remember speaking about it in the playground the day after.
  17. Thats much worse than having ghosts!
  18. Lets not go overboard here! While i do think Bullard is a decent player, he lacks the finesse of a top midfield player, a bit of a headless chicken at times. To compare him with Carrick is madness! Carrick is one of the most assured ball players ive seen! His set plays are decent though, i agree, but he wont get a look in with Beckham, Lampard, Rooney etc....even if he gets a look in on the pitch at all.
  19. Yes i do watch Fulham, i like Bullard, hard working player, but he does lack any real quality to his game. He also likes to take shots from 40 yards at least twice a game, but i suppose that is no different from a certain Mr Lampard.
  20. Jimmy Bullard has been called up to the England squad....desperate times!
  21. Good time to equalise. Hope the dons shove it right up the huns in the second half.
