  1. I do agree with you, of course they are entitled to not serve you anything, but I think it does get messy and is interfering with your rights if you have provided an ID and the store is happy with positive identification that proves you are over 18, then they discriminate against selling you a product because of the company you keep. I don't know why I am so angry about it anyway, im 26 and most of my friends are of similar age and it rarely ever happens to me. I shall let the 18 year olds cry about it.
  2. This. I get what they are trying to do, but it is such a violation of rights. It isn't against the law to have friends under 18 go shopping with you, or friends over 18 who don't have an ID with them which can get you refused a sale. Also, if you ID the customer who is buying the alcohol and they in turn go on to provide it to someone underage, then surely the shop has zero liability on that.
  3. I can't believe people are getting so wound up by this. I would never let a christmas song ever effect me in anyway what so ever, or let is enter my consciousness. There are far more serious things to worry about, I mean, there are probably kids in Africa that don't even know it is christmas time at all.
  4. While i agree with you, my dad did make an excellent point after the game by stating 'who the fuck wants to shake hands with Mark Hughes'.
  5. The upstairs is getting totally ripped out, so maximum people can come and join in the fun. Id like to say we will play more often, but that would probably be a lie.
  6. The following article will explain it quicker and better than I can, but in Aberdeen on 26th February @ Lemon Tree. New album track online at ERRORS (EXCLUSIVE NEW ALBUM TRACK UP NOW) on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads Errors announce new album and UK tour details - Music news, latest news, artists, bands | MSN Music UK | MSN Entertainment | MSN UK
  7. Boutique UK festivals that are nice and that also have good line ups: Latitude (near Norwich) Greenman (Wales)
  8. For anyone interested PVH are going to play their first gig in two years, it shall be at Glasgow's 13th Note Cafe, on new years eve. It is free entry and everything. So if you are in Glasgow for the evening, come along, I might even get nude for old times sake.
  9. Paul Hart has been booted at Pompey, not a surprise really.
  10. Alan Green is such a cunt. I hate him, listening to him on the radio gives me such outrage. He is a total moron. He made a comment earlier that Henry should get a smack in the mouth, when someone tried to call him out on saying such a thing on the radio his retort was shouting GO AWAY louder and louder until his producers cut the caller off. Total prick. Hate him. Liverpool loving scum.

    Floods

    That is gods intervention.
  12. Bank machines that you have to press ENTER after your pin entry, what is the point.
  13. You are so far off the mark, Party Monster is great!
  14. Actually not too bad. But that might have been because Killie were equally as pish as the Dons. It may have been him at fault for their goal though, but I cant properly recall.
  15. Went to Kille - Aberdeen match, pretty strong away support. We were pish though, the 18 pies I eat were all delightful though.
  16. You are right of course, was in the special, not the series. "Why can we no longer think of the British Isles without the word "paedoph" in front of them"
  17. "Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real 'evidence' for it but it is scientific fact" Brass Eye, 1997
  18. Just turned 5 into 90 betting on Manchester United to win 3-1, beauty.
  19. No one is 'bashing' the festival. Sam raised a question, Ben answered, I put the point forward that crew shouldn't be seen as guestlist but as working professionals who (if actually professional) can make the performance as good as it can be. I could email this point to the organiser, but I am sure my point can just be read on this open forum. I also love people sitting at computers, chipping in with points about helping the industry, getting hands dirty etc... which is actually what I do for a full time job.
  20. Yes I understand that moron bands bring 50 of their friends to help out and they are all clueless and get in the way. The issue here is that whoever Sam was representing was told that they couldn't bring a crew member, putting Sam out of work for a day. And it seems that this stems from Wizard looking upon crew members as free ticket takers, and not working professionals. Just for the record, I have never worked any festival across the world that has prohibited taking crew.
  21. You should submit a crew list to a festival and not have working staff on guestlists anyway.
  22. It worries me that you look upon crew members as guestlist and not working professionals who make the bands they work for a tighter unit, which in turn improves the quality of your festival.
