Of course it has critics, i agree there is plenty of shit music in aberdeen. But you are slating the whole 'scene'. That is just narrowminded and shows that your not even willing to give it a chance.

Yes i am 12. Problem? No i am not 12, what sort of immature response was that? So for what reason do you think aberdeen music has no originality? Are you just scared to leave your house to actually listen to some music? Or is change a daunting prospect for you and you cant handle the reality of that not all bands sound the same? And if your so pissed off about everyone sounding the same, go start your own band and revolutionise the aberdeen music scene, somehow dont think you will.

my favourate is definatly Foreign Conversation by politik, its so mellow and class! Crucified by Vomitus is also damn good! i like a masamune song as well, but have no idea of the name of it!

May be a fairly well known cover but Johnny Cash's version of hurt by NiN is still fucking awesome, Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club did a pretty good cover version of Hardest button by the white stripes, but was only done live at gigs.

How good is this weekend going to be? Vomitus and host of other hard as fuck bands on friday night in Drakes, then we have Politik and Dedalus spilt EP launch on saturday at LT. This is gonna be the fucking best weekend ever!

Looking forward to this night. Heaps of great music and bands together. Having a member of Politik in my band also has its advantages., i can reveal (like people dont already know) that there new stuff to go on the EP with Dedalus is fucking awesome, so hopefully dedalus is equally as good, which im sure it will be!

. does anyone else think the council have completely arsed belmont street up? it had the potential to be a fucking brilliant alternative street like a mini-camden or byers road but has been overrun by theme bars and clubs. shame they can't turn buildings into more community art spaces or encourage shops like retro rebels to move there.

Misfits at the lemontree was fucking amazing! Although to be fair i think Karloff sound more like the misfits than the misfits do nowadays! Vomitus would by far be the best support for them at Mosulu.
