Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't you also need permission from the record company that hold's the mechanical copyright on the recording, unless you re-record it.
I know, but either side is yellow as I explained. If Hog did, like you, the lower case e106 that'd be cool but I thought I'd wind him up on the E106 thing, just my luck there isn't an E106 additive. I tried to be humorous with limited material and intelligence and I proffer my humble apologies if I ruffled your bass playing feathers. p.s. that EQ pedal thing is a good idea but think about a compressor as well.
Since you guys call yourselves E106 more often than not, that means you're yellow! You're somewhere between quinoline yellow (E104) and sunset yellow (E110). Doncha just love additives.
There's been at least one. Fantastic clean sound, everyone pricked their ears up when the guitarist fired it up. The distorted sound was awful, I suspect it was user error though.
I think they've fucked up, they've given the picture and description for one thing but the name and price of another. The 788 CDRW is designed for use with the 788. The price is for the CDRW not the 788 itself.
I was looking for a few bits and pieces the other day (preamps, mics,fx) and found thomann to be about 10% dearer than most UK sites. Still worth a look but try dolphin, gak, turnkey, digitalvillage, andertons, absolute, nusystems etc.
As regards the Dublin figures, I thought "wouldn't it be a great idea to just ask the pub owners in Dublin what their figures are" Someone has: The licenced vintners association asked 277 Dublin pubs (roughly half of Dublins pubs). turnover was down 16% and staff levels were down 14%. That's more than one full time and two part time jobs per pub according to them. Looks like students won't need to worry about breathing in smoke at work, there won't be any work.
As I said, experiment and see if you have one that works. As for the 58's not being directional enough, how directional do you want it? Why is it directional enough on a tom, one of which is probably smaller than a snare, but not a snare?
