  1. I'd really like to hear what someone from Fitzpatricks has got to say about the matter but as far as it goes right now, I think the only police involvement should be against the owner. He surely benefited from tons of people going down to see if he was there on Saturday and paying for an overpriced pint when in hindsight they'd rather have been elsewhere.

    Punk Rock

Agree. In fact favourite hardcore band ever. Someone should get the Dauntless Elite up here on day. I think that someone should be me. Maybe.
  3. More traditional. Old. I dunno, half the bars I went to in Ireland didnt look like that either, I think I'm just fussy.
  4. It may not be Fitzpatricks at fault though. Remember a few years ago when The Misfits were booked for Moshulu but it was a hoax booking agent and never were booked? (or something like that). Fitzpatricks doesn't look very Irish though for an Irish bar. Not that I'm saying it appears any less trustworthy. I'm not sure whether to show up tomorrow for this or not. I would kick myself at missing at this but at the same time, I was planning on doing uni work (you can always tell when I've got a lot of uni work cos I post more often on here to avoid facing the inevitable)...tough decisions. Both sides of the argument seem so certain!
  5. I've done it. Now you have to do my dissertation survey too (when I actually finish it)
  6. Poo, I was hoping you'd be selling some Wrestling DVDs
  7. Don't think anyone has posted anything about this yet...but it's next Friday! Should be a really good night...tickets a reasonable 8 (+ b.f)
  8. Positive review in Mojo this month about Joe Gideon and they're featured in the Mojo Rising section too...

    Spl 2

Seems stupid adding on all these regulations when none of these teams have any money in the first place and the likes of Hamilton struggle to atttract 3000. I don't see why they don't just make the SPL bigger - 16-18 teams and everyone just plays each other home and away. Surely it'd be a lot more exciting...and 2 or 3 teams go down

  11. in July...tickets on sale Friday:love:
  12. eh? The Eagles havent contributed anything of any worth to the world of music in decades. I cant see why anyone would complain about the price of Neil Young tickets when he is still constantly producing fantastic albums (Chrome Dreams II and Living With War were both great). I have never looked forward to a gig as much as this. Crosby, Stills & Nash are playing Edinburgh Castle a couple of weeks after I hear. Worth the trip I reckon...
  13. This'll be a good un. Not seen Outcry but they sound well good and got a lot of good press in Kerrang in recent years
  14. 2nd best album I've got this year (after Bruce Springsteen). Pretty good though but not amazing or owt
  15. I'm pretty sure that they never played together although Lennon is rumoured to be on a Hendrix BBC Session cover of Day Tripper They did stop playing live in 66 before their songs really progressed beyond the traditional 3 minute pop song though and live, they could barely ever hear themselves for screams, hence the fact they stopped touring which also may explain their preference of recording in the studio. I'm not sure they were ever made out to be amazing live...other than BBC Sessions, they are one of the few bands of massive status with no live albums currently in print.

I wouldn't. They sucked when they played Moshulu a few years back as far as I recall (was that with Alexisonfire? They where also terrible)

  18. It's a tough 'un that changes on a daily basis but the 2nd half of Abbey Road as a whole is the greatest piece of music ever recorded. As for individual songs...today I choose: 1. Here, There And Everywhere 2. Mother Natures Son 3. Michelle 4. Run For Your Life 5. For No One
