  1. I had to commit Seppuku after my humiliation regarding the best dressed costume.
  2. Does anyone here know a guy called JP? He's short and thin with dark, floppy hair. Anyway last night he and his girlfriend helped myself and Dave after we'd gotten into a fight outside sizzlers (someone tried to steal the Doomstick) and he's due a pint. if you know him can you PM me his contact details? Cheers.
  3. depends on what you get. You never know someone might donate an old one to you. If you just need it for typing and using word then a decrepid old drive from a box someone has lying in their loft would probably do.

The Needles, MTS 9. almost done. best venue - the moorings or drummonds? Drummonds, never been to the moorings (since it was done up)
  5. pussies. I'm sticking with my squad through thick and thin. No transfers for the entire season.
  6. But they're not a novelty band. They're just a band that don't try and hide their influences. And they write some fucking great songs.
  7. despite the result, having calmed down a bit now I can't help wonder what the price might be with the injuries we suffered during the game.
  8. I just fell off my seat and screamed my head off. Fantastic stuff.
  9. The Needles were one of the first local bands myself and my brother ever heard. At the time they helped confirm what I suspected, local music could be as good and refined as the touring acts you pay too much to see. Anyway I know we're not the only people who have had our faith in local bands affirmed by The Needles over the years so you're completely and utterly wrong. I have various friends who know no local bands at all but they know The Needles.
  10. I remember reading about 2 cows that were killed near fourdon a while back. They'd escaped from a field and where hit by a milk truck.
  11. woohoo. it's on payday I will most definitely be there.
  12. mouse, how do you know it didn't work? If I were you I'd change your ebay password anyway, just to be safe. And as a general rule no-one will ask for your password over email for things like this. And if they do, phone their support line to verify it first.
  13. aha. I'm great. how are you? back online then?

    ha ha ha ha

at lunchtime it was sitting at 10million We picked up on it early this morning when it was still under 30. Some people just always have to spoil the fun.
  15. lets just say I doubt anyone at one up does it for the money.
  16. this summer I drove down to alton towers with some friends. first time I'd driven further than stonehaven. We mis-timed things slightly and passed liverpool during rush hour and there were roadworks. Added quite a lot of time to our journey that did. The big motorways were daunting at first but as long as you know what's happening around you it's ok. Just a case of using your mirrors and looking well down the road at what's ahead. And most important lesson I learnt, when your friend in front brakes suddenly it's wise to remember that a car filled with friends and luggage take a lot longer to stop than the empty one you drive every day. Scared my friends shitless a couple of times before I got the message. One time the aforementioned friend in front looked in his mirror to see it suddenly filled with the horror filled faces of myself and my front seat passenger, getting rapidly closer.
