  1. Just started watching Banshee, pretty good so far. Really enjoyed the first episode of the new series of True Detective as well. Colin Farrell was epic.
  2. I don't mind him. He's great in Swingers and Made. He's reasonably funny.

    Your current read?

I'm reading "The Man in the High Castle" by Philip K Dick at the moment. Enjoying it so far. Just finished the first four Katie Maguire novels by Graham Masterson, they were good in an Irish version of Stuart MacBride way but the sex scenes are apalling (not surprising scene as though the guy used to edit Mayfair).
  4. He's playing a "bad guy" so it'll probably be ok to dislike him in it anway.
  5. Enjoying The Affair at the moment. New True Detective starts on Monday as well, sweet, also interested in The Brink as well.
  6. Looking forward to new Disclosure, The Weeknd and Cradle of Afilth albums over the next few months. Think the Tigerwing album is imminent too!
  7. BBC did that during World Cup 2014 with Scott Mills and Chris Stark from Radio 1 doing alternative commentary on a few matches.
  8. I'm enjoying the series and enjoyed the books. I can separate the two of them and see why they've done what they've done.
  9. I don't think clubs can register players until 1st July though. Anyhoo, I think post CL Final is ok if there isn't a major international tournment on through the summer.
  10. Gav @ Downstairs Chris Spencer @ Daily Discord Ross Calder @ Drummonds/Tunnels (not 100% sure about that one) Fudge/Hen Beverly @ Moorings.
  11. Have you heard Jude Law's Aberdonian accent? I bet it's worse than his Generican.
  12. Totally agree, it's like the ball is sometimes a repellent yet attracting force with his foot and there always seems to be a buffer of air between the two. He moves like butter dripping off a hot knife too.
  13. I'm making my main judgement on your input on here Seriously though, being proud of your team is a given. Ups and downs, I guess you lot are just on a bit of a down right now. Not sure what it'll take (apart from Ashley stepping down and selling the club to someone who is interested in football and not just money) to solve that rot though.
  14. From the outside looking in (no particular order): 1. Very small budget 2. Awful chairman 3. Overly critical/difficult to please fans 4. Pretty ropey squad Poisoned chalice

    Your current read?

Did you meet Michael J Fox as well and get him to take the photo?
  16. Yeah, that's a new one on me as well?
  17. Probably because they have absolutely no idea what your usage will be. They can analyze against previous years but that's not in their interests (or particularly accurate). Having your money in their account earning them interest or having you in debt to them is in their interest though.
  18. And this is why I never pay gas/electric by direct debit. I submit a meter reading and pay them based on that bill. I don't trust any of them.
  19. They scored the 3rd highest number of goals in the Championship this season. Their midfield and forward line are stacked with creative players, I'd argue their defence is the worst part of their team.
  20. He certainly didn't set up Derby like that, they were all about free-flowing, attacking football. He's probably about the best you lot could entice in all honesty, talk about poisoned chalice.
