  1. I don't know the ins and outs of it but that's what I heard. Times they are a changing.
  2. I'm pretty sure Teabags doesn't frequent the Moorings anymore...
  3. I've started a new dark-electronica project called The Revenant, I'm working on two songs at the moment with a view to putting out an EP later this year or early next year. Looking for vocalists to work with, particularly female vocalists with a Portishead/London Grammer vibe. Here's a couple of snippets of what I'm working on at the moment, as always feedback is appreciated:
  4. Preview of something I'm working on in my new project, The Revenant.
  5. You got any music that you've done so far that you'd be willing to share?
  6. How about a nice frame with a good family photo in it, even just a photo of the two of you together that you/she likes?

    Your current read?

I finished The Man in the High Castle, pretty good intertwining plot lines but I felt the end was a little abrupt. Well worth a read though! Moved on to Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane, started slow but has picked up, a while since I saw the film as well so it's all feeling pretty new again.
  8. And that guy from Cameroon, Joseph Minala, that plays for Lazio who's apparently 18/19 but looks like he's 40. The youth team photos he's in look like one of the coaches has gone full kit wanker just to be one of the ladz.
  9. It's cool. I didn't want to come anyway.
  10. A year on and I've barely touched the surface in Komplete. The majority of my usage is the Vintage Compressor series and the Solid and Passive EQ. I've had a play around with Studio drummer which seems pretty flexible and usable and Massive, which is overwhelming in its sheer volume of synth sounds/options. Both are likely to become pretty big parts of my own music as it develops. I'll have a few more examples of my work on the production/mixing side soon when I've finished mixing the new Callahan EP. Another section I'd really like to get to grips with is the Damage series. I've had a bit of a play around with them and you can make some pretty great sounding soundscapes with them but I've yet to use any of my dabbling in anything. Ditto Action Strings, which is great on the limited exposure I've had to it so far. The thing I've been most blown away with is the depth to what's available and the sound quality is amazing. If anyone's looking for a pretty expansive production suite it's well worth the outlay.
  11. I feel I should apologise on this front.
  12. I take it your window frame is sealed gap wise between the upvc frame and a wooden box frame or even the bare granite? If so, you could take the silicon out of both sides, run the cable through and then re-seal with silicon.
  13. It looks a bit like a Ben Sherman or Sergio Tocchini (sp?) Polo shirt, not too keen.
  14. Yeah, sack off the group stages but in my opinion 2 legs would be better for balance. I'd ditch the seeding for the rounds where the big teams come in. I think the early stages need some of the glamour ties that would appear by chance and it would encourage teams to field stronger line-ups.
  15. Does your work not have any? We reuse all ours otherwise I'd hook you up
  16. I love the singles, will have to check out the whole thing.
  17. Watched that episode on Monday, boy did that guy have it coming to him.
  18. Odious cunt gate and the reasons I've stated in my post. Some people like to hold grudges.
  19. I'm posting less on here now as I don't feel as welcome as I used to. I've also grown more and more weary of the lack of music chat over the years. I've tried to engage people on here (as I'm aware a few others have also) in numerous ways (posting about electronic music, recording, feedback etc) but the initial flurry of interest peters out. The forum is largely made up of a football thread and YoungA selling stuff.
  20. I think it's a couple of weeks. If you haven't heard in a month you'll be ok for definite. Stop speeding you daft cunt.
  21. Yeah, I'm only a couple of episodes in but daaaaaaaaamn that Amish/Quaker lassie is hot. Fight scenes are like those in a Guy Ritchie film, all the moves are exaggerated. It's great though.
  22. I'm still getting the message through by Morse Code 18 days later.
