jester1470
there's a lot of solo female singers: Amy Sawyers, Kathryn Sawyers, Finona Keenan, Emma Forman, until recently Jo McCafferty. Next year we'll be debuting Emma's new band Baby Karma too :-)CheersStuart

Afro Droid
I'd love to see more girls in bands in Aberdeen, I like rock, and I like girls! RL always wanted a girl vocalist/keyboard player but we've never found anyone who fit the bill....
Afro Droid
Check out www.myspace.com/carfaxmusic . Shameless i know' date=' but we have girls.xxx[/quote']Where was that first tune recorded? It's meaty. The song itself is quite cool, strong vocals and a good hook - but the drumming needs tightened up a bit and the lyrics are awful. Still - I'd go see ya's play

kirkt
The Planeteers are female fronted punk. And we're the only rock n' roll eco warriors in Aberdeen to my knowledge.
Sky
Claire Hamilton fronts a band from time-to-time, though usually plays solo. Some of her tracks are available online at her website.
