I am a singer songwriter from Aberdeen looking to start a modern country (ish) band here. I have been playing gigs since the age of 14 and have my own equipment. My influences are Two Gallants, Old Crow Medicine Show, Bright Eyes, Jenny Lewis and Felice Brothers. I play guitar, bass, piano, lapsteel and I sing. I have some songs we could work on right away if interested. Looking to start ASAP and open to ideas of instruments used and number of band members. If you think you'll fit, please reply on here. I went on a night out with the Mad Caddies in Glasgow which was cool. And I once met Richard O'brian in an airport. He didn't look very well but he was all about the Rocky Horror Show chat. Oh and I met Willy Mason, he was pretty.

Ben Folds Live is a great album. It's got all the hits and really shows the musician that he is. Bright Eyes album is indeed out on the 9th and looks to be fantastic. Heard a few of the new tracks online and it really sounds great. xxx

I'm planning a trip to Cuba in the summer with STA Travel and I just wondered if anybody had any experience with this company? Good or bad, I'd like to hear xxx

Rufus T's is a good shout. If you're in Glasgow on a Tuesday the best rock night is Revolution at the QMU. You have to have ID with you in order to get in (even if you are clearly about a hundred) xxx

Actually I'm 18! Hah! 19 on Thursday though. xxx

Did anyone go last night? I thought the set was fantastic! Brought me back to my youth so it did! xxx

Bonnie Prince Billy rules! I've only recently found him but he really is fantastic. Does he ever tour the UK? I really know nothing about him. xxx

A drunken story that made me laugh recently: A friend of mine was out on a night out and had one too many. He was walking down the road with his friend and saw a police woman talking to one of his pals. The police woman was pretty fit so he decided to go and talk to her. Basically, a couple of months later he got a letter saying that he'd been summoned to court to give evidence regarding this night. He has no idea what happened and doesn't even know what the crime is. Made me laugh anyway. xxx

I've had one foot off the merry-go-round all day. xxx

The bouncers there are a bit strange. Once (a very long time ago) a few us went and only one of us didn't have ID so instead of turning us away they said that if two of the girls kissed they'd let us all in. Now thats professionalism. xxx

I can't stand when people say that things are "random" which clearly are not. Or people who say, "I'm mad me". You're not mad. You're a fanny. xxx

I have to read The Magic Toyshop by Angela Carter for uni and I can't say I'm enjoying it much. I've just finished a rather stange chapter involving a girl being molested by a swan puppet. xxx

A scullet is indeed bald on top and long at the back. One of the Culter 19 drivers has one. It's very impressive. xxx

Could I have a scullet? xxx

About a month ago I flew to Sardinia and got my shoes x-rayed. I don't know if these rules are still in place but I'd advise matching socks for your traveling days! xxx

I was taught by a woman called Sue Dally who is really good. I passed in 3 months, first time. I think she's about 20 a lesson as well. xxx
