Adam Easy Wishes
Papers saying shoulder injury which would obviously be worse. You can strap a broken wrist up and get on with it, but a shoulder problem will likely be a few weeks out.

Paranoid Android
Anyone going to watch the copa america final tonight? Could be great. Argentina's attack clicked in the semi final but their defence still looks incredibly vulnerable so I'm hoping for a 5-4.
Soda Jerk
I've only seen highlights so far, but it's strange that the Argentina defence is so sopey. Zabaleta, Demichelis, Otamendi and Rojo is a good back 4 individually. Otamendi is a bit mental in a Vidic-like way, but he's still impressive. I think it would be stronger if they had Garay in for Demichelis. Is Garay injured?
ca_gere
Yeah. Arg were amazing in the semi. Relentless attack. I've only really managed to watch the knockout matches so far. I'm undecided whether the football is better than the euros but I'm definitely less invested in the tournament, probably because I know less players. Still, it's been nice having a constant source of football this summer

Alkaline
It looks a bit like a Ben Sherman or Sergio Tocchini (sp?) Polo shirt, not too keen.
Woodsinho
It's got a Man City badge on it, that's quite offputting.
Soda Jerk
It's pretty much United's 13/14 kit, but Blue and White instead of Red and Black. The weird choir boy collar is identical. The 3rd kit is pretty sharp though
Adam Easy Wishes
Celtic have this morning had a bid accepted by United for Ciftci. I wonder a) if they'll make the 'parent/feeder' relationship formal and b) what Jackie McNamara will buy with his cut of the deal..? I hear he wants a slightly bigger conservatory hence the hard bargain on the transfer fee. Edited July 7, 2015 by Adam Easy Wishes
Captain America
A year to run on his deal somewhere between 1 and 1.5 million is a good price. Shame he doesn't want to go to Wigan but he wont sign a new deal and there's no point letting him walk for nothing next year.
Adam Easy Wishes
I jest, it's a good bit of business for United. He's clearly got a bit of talent but I'm not sure he has the temperament to not be the 'big man', which he won't be at Celtic. Captain America
I jest, it's a good bit of business for United. He's clearly got a bit of talent but I'm not sure he has the temperament to not be the 'big man', which he won't be at Celtic. He's also horrifically all or nothing when playing for United. He's either amazing and clear man of the match or you have to watch him trot about and give the ball away with pointless flicks that have about a 10% chance of coming off. We're looking really thin squad wise now. It's a lot of risk to base are squad for next season so heavily on kids.
Adam Easy Wishes
Is McNamara likely to get some of that cash to reinvest? It's difficult to see anyone getting close to Aberdeen as challengers to Celtic, perhaps Hearts might actually have the best chance weirdly enough. Unless obviously United or Caley Thistle make some decent signings. Aberdeen's squad is very strong, if we can keep hold of everyone and maybe sign another striker we'll be in a good place. Captain America
Doubt it, he hasn't been given much of the cash from previous good money deals (other than his kick backs of course huehuehue). I'd like to see him get a little of it, revisit the bid for Scott Allan from January and at least use Cifci's wages on a couple more players. TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
It looks like Celtic "cult hero" Amido Balde is moving to Metz. Hopefully Ciftci can prove to be an adequate replacement.
waltz
I don't rate Ciftci, to be honest. I'd like us to stop signing Dundee United players now, we already got the best ones.
Captain America
You'll probably still have a go for Souttar this summer.
waltz
You'll probably still have a go for Souttar this summer.I can't remember who told me this, but someone 'in the know' once told me that John Souttar had played with Celtic at one point but moved to Dundee United for geographical convenience and the more realistic chance of first-team appearances. HOWEVER, this may be total shite.
Adam Easy Wishes
He also has quite a bit of development still to do, which is best served at United. Celtic will know this.

Captain America
I don't think Dzeko is the answer for Arsenal, he's better than Giroud but not that much better. Arsenal need a striker but I think they need one that creates a bit more for himself than Dzeko does.
