I heard some grim stories about that place after BK moved out, apparently there were other health issues other than just the asbestos.

Fact of the day - James Donald who was one of the main characters in The Great Escape (1963) was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He was born on May 18th 1917 and died in Wiltshire, England on August 3rd 1993 aged 76.

Another fact about The Great Escape (1963) is that they cast actual Nazi's to play the German roles which I found interesting.

Also I was reading about conspiracy theories that had been confirmed and read that US Government had planned to bomb busy street in US cities so that they could use that as an excuse to open fire on communists. Also the CIA had guns that could give someone a heart attack and kill them of natural causes with no trace.

Stonehaven is to get a road train going round it this summer.

There is going to be a First bus open day at the depot on King Street on 30th June 2013 on the same day as the Duthie Park funday.

The Range will be open by the end of Summer at the beach and will create 150 jobs so if you are looking for a job then there will be some coming up. They will also be opening in Glasgow with more Scottish stores to come.

The Cotton Club has always been there, just changed hands probably. Does that mean Cafe Bardot has reopened as well?

From the name it sounds like a gay bar.

There are alot of good empty units on Union Street, so if you have an idea for a shop and have lots of money then Union Street is your place.

I do not know anything about that place apart from knowing that the owner is most likely dead (courtesy of Lucky Rathen). It was an antique shop.
