Hog
So I was thinking. What musician do you think has changed the most over the years?
Soda Jerk
Chris Hannah. Propagandhi. He went from sounding like a weedy nerd to a shithouse.
Teabags
Attila Csihar from Mayhem/SUNN0)))/Aborym/whatever else.He has a whole bunch of different weird voices he uses.
The Milner
Michael Jackson went from sounding like a 10 year old black kid, to a 40 years old white man.

Moose
Off the top of my head: James Hetfield between Kill ‘em All-...and Justice... and Black Album to present.
Diesel
David Coverdale.I think all the plastic surgery had made him sound nasal.Listen to his live Purple work (especially "Burn") or Whitesnake's "Live In The Heart of the City" against "Live ... In The Still of the Night" for a comparison.
ben_1903
James Hetfield.

Alkaline
Chris Cornell sounds aweful now. His voice is totally shot.
fatboy
Bruce Dickinson lost it some time ago
Diesel
I guess there's only a finite time singers like Chris Cornell and Bruce Dickinson who have "high-gain" vocals can last. Ian Gillan was one of Rock's finest vocalists, yet I saw Deep Purple at the Armadillo a couple of years ago and was borderning on inept.A strange one is Robert Plant. His voice completely went in the 90's, yet I saw a recent live performace he did with Alison Krauss and he sounded fantastic. Maybe a rest and the change of style allowed his voice to repair itself? Alkaline
Dunno if we have any Swellers fans on these boards but that guys voice is totally different on the newest album.Last album. Newest album. EDIT: Facial expression and camera angles obviously haven't changed much though. They're reet good J-Wad. Remind me of when The Ataris were good.
Soda Jerk
I thought they both sounded the same each time. Not a bad thing, but not like WOAH DIFFERENT SINGER!

Hog
I would also go for James Hetfield. Go the last part and it plays hetfield 2010 and then from Kill'em All.
Monster Zero
Mark Lanegan's vocals changed a fair bit from early Screaming Trees albums, got a lot gruffer circa 'Buzz Factory'. For the better.See also Marianne Faithfull.
Guest
Roddy Woomble of Idlewild. Used to be a raspy screech with a faux American accent, now a deep melodic baritone with a West coast accent.
The Kernel Loaf
Murray from the Xcerts.
Soda Jerk
I would also go for James Hetfield. Go the last part and it plays hetfield 2010 and then from Kill'em All.That's pretty odd. From 1981 - 1990 he seems to improve, but from 1991 onwards, he just gets shitter.
Soda Jerk
I dunno. Wearing your own bands shirt adds on a serious amount of dick-points for me.
Teabags
I'm wearing my own band's hoodie today. And you can both suck me off.
