FOX
Canada's a nice place too, but not exactly holiday-y. Roadtrippin' the ol' USA is a good shout, try the east coast.
Guest E.C
NYC is a definite option - had considered doing a month or two "doing" America but not sure how exactly to plan it!

Guest E.C
my sister lived in Cambodia for 6 months and it sounds...not great, other than Phnom Penh. it's an option though - she probably knows some shit.
ca_gere
I vote for a US trip. Spend a good week in new york then do Portland and LA/SF. East coast cities seem quite samey so get a good mix.

Hugh_Jazz
Living somewhere and going there on holiday are not really comparable.I visited Nepal in October. Best holiday of my life, but living there would be absolutely heinous. I've heard nothing but amazing reports about mates that have visited Cambodia. scottyboy
I wouldn't want to live in Cambodia either but Angkor is pretty immense. Phnom Penh is OK, laid back for a SE Asian capital. Various parts of the countryside get very good reports. The people are friendly and all that. There's also -if you are so inclined- the infamous shooting ranges. If budget really isn't an issue you can possibly play with anything up to a tank...
