Paranoid Android
It's that time of year again. I may not watch any rugby for the majority of the year but the six nations is possibly my favourite (non-football) sporting event. Got a feeling England will win it this year. Teabags
I may not watch any rugby for the majority of the year but the six nations is possibly my favourite (non-football) sporting event.Apart from Ice Hockey, I'm the same.Looking forward to it. Chris
England won't win it.Full of positive feelings about Scotland again but no doubt we'll be terrible in Paris on Saturday. Tough game to start with. I'm looking forward to going down for the Wales game though. I think we'll win our home games this year and the tournament will be very close but if France win their first game they should build some momentum. Reckon they'll win it again. Paranoid Android
Hope you're right. My prediction was based on nothing other than pessimism.
Woodsinho
I'll watch it because it's sport and it's on tv but it's the wrong kind of rugby for me. As a result I have no idea who's good and who's bad except that Italy are bad.Go Team England Win.
Captain America
I fancy us as a dark horse this year to get 3 wins hopefully. I just doubt that we'll score enough tries. We get too reliant on Parks kicking everything and dont really push the game by scoring tries.
davewarden
I reckon we've got a good chance against the french, no better time to play them than first and they never have a consistent starting xv between groups of matches (autumn-6nations). Although the sentence "Nick De Luca comes in to replace the injured Greame Morrison", doesnt fill me with too much confidence (fyi I think they are both shit).I really hope England have a shocker, theyll get beat by wales who have a lot of confidence. Nobody ever seems to talk about the Irish but I think they will have an alright tournament.Wales to win.
Paranoid Android
Disappointing outcome but I really enjoyed that match. Promising start to the tournament.
KimyReizeger
Nice to see some tries at least. Scotland did well to come back into it after very early blows and a frighteningly effective French scrum.
framheim
the french scrum was pretty astonishing. some brilliant rugby from france and a promising start for scotland, despite the loss. a good game of rugby though!
Paranoid Android
Very enjoyable match, despite the result. From what we saw this weekend Scotland have nothing to fear from any of the other teams in the tournament.
Chris
I'm really hopeful for the Wales game at Murrayfield now. If we can cut out mistakes like the loose pass for France's 4th try we should be in good shape. Can't believe we scored 3 tries in Paris and still lost. What a shocker.
Captain America
This game is really enjoyable so far. Italy would be winning if they could score any kicks!
Paranoid Android
Looking forward to the Rugby marathon today. Let's hope we can end with a win and Ireland deny England the grand slam.
Chris
It's been a miserable campaign (can't believe my first trip to Murrayfield was to watch that Wales match) but hopefully we can end on a high. I'm going to watch it in the pub and get pissed regardless.
Paranoid Android
The worst thing about this tournament has been that I've always felt we could have been doing much better. This team is more than capable of beating Wales or Ireland.
Chris
Totally. We've not played too badly but there's been too many basic errors. Dropping the ball in the final third, not finding a blue shirt at the lineout. It's like we've gone back to the Frank Hadden days.
Paranoid Android
Got a feeling England will win it this year.England won't win it.Why were you wrong?Good final day though. Good second half from Scotland and the Ireland - England match was wonderful.
Lemonade
Good first half yesterday, overpowered in the second, did well to keep them out, the French were chapping on the door the whole second half. Can take some positives from the performance. Bring on the Welshies.
Spoonie
It was one of the most positive and attack minded performance I've seen us put in and I think that if we keep working at it, we will be in good shape for the world cup. There's definitely talent there at the key spots.
Captain America
Thought we were pretty unlucky with some decisions as well. Ref didn't call France once for diving in off feet into the ruck, which they were doing constantly. The yellow was strangely fast as well, usually you get a warning for pulling down the maul and then you get the yellow. If he was being consistent he would have yellow'd France later in the game as they pulled down a maul as well. Still a good performance from Scotland much better running by the backs and I really like the new 10. Very positive.
