Teabags
Yeah, precisely. UGH. I'm gonna have to watch ebay like a hawk.
Soda Jerk
Are you dead-set on the RC-3? I had an RC-2 for similar purposes in Dross, noise samples and whatnot. Worked a treat for me. I don't know what the RC-3 does that's different though, but the RC-2 tends to go for a bit less.
Teabags
Main difference is a USB input so you can sort out recorded samples with software. RC-2 is just an aux input that you record onto. I think.
colb
A Jamman will do the same thing for a bit less cash.
fatboy
are you just using it for recording samples? i've used an rc-2 for this, one thing to note f, if you use the overdrive on your amp and you wish to play a sample like a voice clip, it will all distort (this may be intentional) I'm sure your orange will have an effects loop so put the the output of the rc-3 into the the return of the fxloop, this way the samples will play clean allowing you to keep riffing. Teabags
Yeah, just samples. I was just gonna DI it, rather than put it through my amp.
FatHand
I've been having a bit of an effects craving lately. Like the look of this Fairfield Randy's Revenge ring modulator pedal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ3eNFOHrR4. Although it is more gear I have now rather than want, picked up a Strymon Deco and Moog FM drive for use with my keyboards... both very tasty tone sculptors. Dwarfcraft do some really nice modulators - in pedal and eurorack as well.

Amazing... what were you running it through? Filters and delays and stuff? I would like to do something like this with a guitarist using my MS20. colb
Yeah - lots of bitcrushers and signal destroy/glitch things too, it was really interesting playing guitar while someone else worked on what I was playing via the eurorack

James Broonbreed
Aye, I'm fairly taken by it too. Doubt I'd ever get anything that's not Fender these days though.

James Broonbreed
A quick question really, but.... Does anyone happen to recall the RRP of the Kiefer Sutherland signature 336 when it was released back in 2007? There was one in Strungout Guitars for 3 G's a while back and I wish to fuck I'd bought it...
James Broonbreed
Yass, I just bought a Fender Blender whilst drunk.
