Soda Jerk
This is the most heinous of incorrect tea-making errors.I thought that was not making it in a teapot? Also, boiling water straight onto instant coffee scalds the coffee, making it taste bitter, like if you scraped the top layer of burnt toast into your mug. Maybe that's the taste folk like though. Instant coffee certainly does need some kind of flavour adding to it!
Guest Hobo
Ticktock Roibosh tastes better than tetley however tetley do roibosh and vanillaStrong Roibosh and a shot of sweetened soya milk Early grey and a shot of rootbeer is also very sweet
Guest idol_wild
Milk and 1.5 for me, thank you.I do love the Tetley Vanilla teabags, but straight up Tetley or PG Tips is good for me.I fucking love tea.
KarmaTsunami
I've got a wee tea strainer so I don't have to make a full pot when I just want a cuppa of proper tea. Speaking of which, I'm away for a cup of Yorkshire right now.

Le Stu
Thai Iced-Tea. People in America thought I was a complete weirdo for putting milk in my iced tea. This is ace because it's made with condensed milk so it's sweet as well! And you need it if you get the red curry super hot!

Guest Hobo
Yorkshire Tea gives me a headache. I swear this stuff is dehydrating me.caffeine is a diuretic however the ratio of water to caffeine should stop you getting dehydrated or maybe you just have a very low caffeine tolleranceor maybe...... it could be fucking with your head since its psychoactive
Swingin' Ryan
Yes thats right. Milk over the top of the tea bag. You'll thank me one day.Bingo. A lot of people seem disgusted when I put the milk in whilst the tea bag is in but makes all the difference. Also don't squeeze the tea bag until the milks in. Then you get that little surge of concentrated tea blasting through the milk. Stir for a good ten seconds.

Maybe it's just something in the blend I'm using.I'm not a big fan of the taste either. Strange, because I've heard so many people say good things about it. ca_gere
Tea leaves have more caffeine than coffee beans, however, in a cup, everyday situation, it's the other way round.Correct. A kilo of tea leaves has more caffeine in it than a kilo of coffee beans*. Only coz leaves are light as fuck and you need a shitload to make a tonne. It is this 'fact' that has trickled down chinese whisper style over the years and now means some bellend in your office thinks he's clever when he says... 'you know tea has more caffeine in it than coffee.' *BibliographyStephen Fry, QI BBC 2005
