Teabags
I'm not super knowledgable still but, I like the signing of McCoy. But they better not drop Fred Jackson. The man's a fucking king. Not saying they will, since it looks like Spiller's gone.Matt Cassel, what do you guys know about him? Is this another QB to stand in for a season until we decide on Manuel?Looks like I picked roughly the right time to start supporting the Bills. Captain America
Jackson is going to get significantly less reps at RB at least, they might have him in some more specialist packages but McCoy is a top 3 RB in the league. He'll be taking most of the downs. I'm sure that will be part of the reason he moved from Philly as they tried to use him as more of a scheme back. Yeah Cassel had that one season at New England and then mediocrity since then. He's probably still better than Manuel.
ca_gere
Jets linked with Fitzpatrick now. Dependable back up, ready to step up if the geno experiment fails. What with REVISISLAND back, my off season excitement has reached fever pitch. Cue crushing disappointment.

And all the fans want him to stay too. I think he's still got game in him, despite being old as fuck.
Spoonie
Shane Vereen to the Giants I hear. Finally starting to pick up some players!
Captain America
We signed Torrey Smith. I sort of forgot about him, a remember him from a couple of years ago looking like he was going to be a 1000 yard receiver/huge deep threat. Haven't seen much from him last couple of years, has he fallen off? We got him at a nice price as well.

ca_gere
I've always thought of Torrey Smith as a very consistent but unspectacular receiver. His stats have been pretty much the same each year no? Edit: http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/14032/torrey-smith he was targeted more the year he broke 1000 yds but percentage-wise pretty much the same. Captain America
Finally gives a deep threat. Close to 900 yards off 50 catches is exactly what we need. Boldin does all the dirty work and Vernon needs to prove himself this year. He wanted a new contract at the start of last season, you aren't even getting any kind of contract with a year like his last year.
Woodsinho
All that plus he gets more yards for the team than his stats suggest due to drawn pass interference calls down the field.
Captain America
Rams DLine is now Quinn and Long on the edge with Fairley eating up the space in the middle. Ok. 4th place NFC West here we come!
Captain America
ABANDON SEASON. Borland has retired as well. After 1 season, saying he's worried about the long term effects of head blows. He didn't even get concussed last season so it just shows how worried some NFL players are about whats happened to players that have had long careers and then died in their 50s. Sucks for us, that was the ready made Willis replacement.
Spoonie
Concussion chat is everywhere these days. In coaching, especially youth and junior teams over here, it's such a big focus. I can see it changing the game for good.
Teabags
ca_gere, Percy harvin, tell me everything.
ca_gere
A dual threat wide receiver who can catch or tuck in and play behind the tight end in a shotgun formation and run the ball . He runs better with the ball than a lot of Running Backs in the NFL. Didn't get used much as an out and out wide receiver with the Jets last season (prob due to our INT issues) and in general he's been a bit meh for the last couple seasons but going on his MVP calibre play a few years back he's definitely capable of being a no 1 receiver for you guys. Look out for a lot of sweeps, he's great at those. (where he comes rushing across behind the OL pre-snap and runs round the other side with the ball. I can't remember who returns for the Bills but Harvin is a specialist so he may take that up too. Needs to get his mind right and is known for being a difficult character but Rex Ryan loves those guys and if there's a coach out there who can reign him in it's Rex.

Captain America
DLine/DE first round please. WR later. I'd accept a top CB talent if they fell in the first.
ca_gere
Shane Ray? What 1st round picks does SF have?
Captain America
Just 1 this year. Number 15. We got 2 4's and 2 7's as well so we might move a little later on I guess. Baalke has done well in the drafts to date, especially with acquiring extra picks.
colb
We've got a ton of 4 and 5 picks - hopefully we trade up and get some pass rush.
ca_gere
If we keep MO Wilkerson, we will have the best D-line in the league. Absolutely no question.
Captain America
Jets must be fucking ecstatic, how do the redskins not pick him??
colb
The amount of times the Redskins gave up easy sacks last season Scherff is a good safe pick for them.
