Captain America
Not to mention he is an OC that has categorically failed to develop a QB with bags of talent. That'll help in Buffalo...
colb
How much of that was Roman and how much Harbaugh changing calls?
Captain America
Only time Harbaugh made calls was when he'd entirely take over the offense in a game. He didn't meddle here and there from what I've read. It's Harbaugh's fault overall though, there's no way Roman should have been kept on for this season. Looks like he's learned from his mistake as two weeks ago Roman was nailed on to go with Jim to Michigan and Jim decided he didn't want him. colb
Going for a pass on a third and change seems much more in character with Harbaugh than Roman doesn't it? It's completely understandable that he's taking flack for last season and the end of the season before but I think a lot more blame has to land @ Harbaugh's feet - Roman is a good OC and he's probably a good fit for Rex. I don't think it'll be a great fit with Rex unless they get a very good QB coach. Neither of those two has had any success developing QBs and Buffalo aren't blessed with any. You are right that Harbaugh did get involved with the offense but in most games it was Roman calling the plays so he can't have a pass on that. Roman is pretty much a genius with running plays however with the issues on our OLine last season he couldn't use that knowledge to cover over his glaring problems in the passing game. At least at Buffalo he will have full control of his play calls so we'll quickly be able to see how much of our failings were his fault. Spoonie
Roman is definitely old school in terms of building around a physical running game but as has been said, some of those calls were baffling. If that was Harbaugh over ruling and Rex lets him get back to basics, that could be quite an effective partnership!
Teabags
Yeah, but the Broncos want to dump Peyton's 21.5m salary so he's gonna end up in Buffalo and help develop Manuel...RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!!?!? I know, I'm kinda dreaming.
Captain America
I think Shanahan is going to go back to Denver and ride that glorious steed back to the Superbowl with Peyton to retire with a ring. Calling it. This will probably not happen. At least the Superbowl part wont.
colb
The Bills don't have a draft pick until #50 this year, QB is definitely gonna be an issue, unless something mental happens in Free Agency........
Teabags
Maybe I wasn't entirely dreaming...http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/13/could-peyton-play-elsewhere-in-2015/
Captain America
I don't think Greg Roman would be staying if you got Peyton.
Captain America
Yes, we went with Tomsula for HC. Look at that glorious moustache.
Spoonie
That selection has gone down well within the British American Football world because Tomsula was here when he worked with the Claymores and left a lasting impression with the many coaches who learned from him and who he spoke to at clinics and conventions. Keen to see how he gets on!
Captain America
They did a nice NFL short film on him a couple of years ago. Players love him so now it's about getting good coordinators to help him. No doubt the players will play for him though. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-presents/0ap2000000130856/NFL-Films-Presents-Jim-Tomsula
ca_gere
I have a sneaky feeling the Sanchize could be back up and running up in Buffalo next year.

Captain America
Jesus Christ the Packers should be embarrassed. That second half game plan was a joke they didn't even give themselves a chance on most of their drives. They played don't lose offence and lost. colb
How do you not spot Sherman playing with one arm and at least try to exploit that? Seahawks didn't look the best either though, no pass protection and Wilson looked like a rabbit in the headlights for the first 3 quarters. Soda Jerk
Packers should have been a bit more ruthless in the first half whilst the Seahawks were all over the place. At least one of those early FGs should have been a TD attempt. The Seahawks' 2 point conversion near the end was ridiculous. Was hoping for a Packers Colts Superbowl. I don't care for either of the actual finalists.
Captain America
The Seahawks' 2 point conversion near the end was ridiculous. That lost them the game more than the stupid onside kick fail in my opinion. Haha Dix just stopped playing defence on his man and he caught that ridiculous looping pass from Wilson. Mental, Packers deserved to lose for that second half display.
