Dan G Posted May 24, 2004 Report Share Posted May 24, 2004 Actually, I used to have a 100Watt Marshall valvestate of some sort and it actually did sound really good.It's just my brother and Russell Loaded both have AVT100's and the distortion sounds absolute balls to me. Both my overdrive channels are almost on full and the clean channel roughly half way (if I remember), then I use the master volume to control them. Jeid Posted May 25, 2004 Report Share Posted May 25, 2004 my flatmate has an AVT100. i've been using it lately since my head is still broken(i'm too poor to afford to fix it just now). I used to play with the EQ every night and i thought it sounded ok. but then, curiosity got the better of me. I unplugged the speaker from the amp, and plugged in my Marshall 1922 2x12"(with better quality Celestions) and man.... what a fuckin difference!Its like a whole new amp now. i can get loads of sounds from it. its awesome.if you get the chance, try it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sounded like it was gonna explode when I used the shredmaster. Then I plugged it into my vintage 30 cab.
