Diesel
The new lass has a slappable arse - and that's about it.Appreciate that it's a light-hearted sci-fi romp, but why did they cast a graduate from "The Speak-Your-Weight Machine School of Acting" in a key role?Bring back Billie Piper. The last two stories have been cock as well. jester1470
Now that's a proper Who episode, favourite one of the whole new series (inc Eccleston) so far, had all the right silliness, chases, reversing the polarity and all sort of interesting references to the past and the first mention that the Master knows who the Dr is.CheersStuart
Paranoid Android
Great episode tonight, I've enjoyed all the new series though. Next weeks episode looks very interesting, which makes it even more annoying that we have to wait two weeks!Martha is much better than Rose. Kan' Sharuminar
Just caught up with the entire new series - opinion is Eccleston had the better stories, though Tennant be the better Doctor.I quite liked the latest episode, though more for the 'behind the scenes' stuff than the main storyline. Looking forward to seeing what it might be building up to, and I do hope it's The Master.
WoodyRATM
Next episode looks pretty awesome.Pity that its a fortnight away gutted.
Diesel
Good to see that the excellent John Simm (Life On Mars) will be in the next episode.Life On Mars has been the best thing on telly for ages, apart from the gash ending.
delboy
i could be wrong but i got the impression that they were showing clips from the rest of the series as opposed to the next episode at the end.best episode yet i thought
medichi
Great episode - almost makes up for the gashness so far - and the next one (two?) look fucking great!

Afro Droid
So is John Sim The Master? He looks pretty creepy and cool to me anyways. Tennant gave away some shit on Parky t'other night - it might not even be The master, at least not as we've previously known him, and The face of Bo will be back! Also - Captain Jack is back! Woo-hoo! Barrowman!
Diesel
Is John Sim the chap that featured in the last episode? He was wondering about warning Marthas mother that the Doctor was dangerous.I was slightly miffed that I missed Tennant on Parky but meh. Im looking forward to seeing Captain Jack again. No, that wasn't John Simm (Sam Tyler in Life On Mars). It was someone else.
Afro Droid
John Simm. He was wearing a breathing ,mask and tapping furiously on a desk in the trailer for the next episode.
Diesel
Ahhhhh, yes. I recognise him now.I've been meaning to buy season 1 of Life on Mars. I've heard roaring reviews of it and it's only 18 in virgin.Go for it - it's fantastic. The best original drama in years.
Afro Droid
This week's two-parter was a corker. Just awesome. Still not sold on Martha yet, but Tenant continues to inspire new heights for Who. Next week's one looks good too.
JaseyBoi
Martha's been sacked afaik. And Tennent will only play the dr for a part of series 4 (the final series)...Im not liking this series as much as i liked the last two.
delboy
Martha's been sacked afaik. And Tennent will only play the dr for a part of series 4 (the final series)...Im not liking this series as much as i liked the last two.i too am not liking this series as much as the last two - i think the episodes have become formulaic - bit of action followed by heaps of sentimental guff. and the way they have the doc's assistant fall pathetically in love with the doc is just cringeworthy. liked the scarecrow baddies in the last couple of episodes mind.maybe john sim and the return of captain jack might just save the series mind. Kan' Sharuminar
I actually rather liked the recent two-parter, and I'm still holding out for a fantastic season finale to make up for the averageness of the rest of the season. Definitely not a fan of Martha either
jester1470
As a character Martha's more interesting than Rose. Tenant may be leaving midway through 4 this hasnt been confirmed one way or another, but I imagine that it will go on for more than 4 years- it's a flagship show and still profitable, however I could see RTD leaving, which might be a good thing, and according to Freema's agent she will be back for series 4, and the BBC have denied the Sun's story she's been axed, both mean nothing but we'll see.CheersStuart
Afro Droid
Tonight's one was nae bad, still not as good as anything from last series though (with the exception of the awful Peter Kaye episode). How freakin' hot was the main girl, Sally Sparrow? Fucking hell, she's the best lookin' person I've seen on the BBC for ages. I'm in love, wonder if she goes for skinny tattooed guys? Captain Jack back next week. Barrowman!
Frosty Jack
How freakin' hot was the main girl, Sally Sparrow? Fucking hell, she's the best lookin' person I've seen on the BBC for ages.I was thinking half-way through that they really need to get her in as the assistant. She was great. Kan' Sharuminar
From the previews I thought it might be a bit of a bad move to have a 'Doctor-light' episode just after the two-parter where, really, he wasn't the Doctor. Was happy to be proven wrong - great episode, with suitably scary monsters (possibly the creepiest of the new Who) and the absolutely gorgeous Sally Sparrow. Most delightful
Chris
Sally Sparrow was lovely. Would definitely make a superb assistant. It was a great episode overall though.
fugitive
Easily the best episode of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed it.And you lot get your eyes off Sally Sparrow I saw her first
WoodyRATM
I agree it was the best of the series. I always felt that doctor who could use more terror. and those weeping angels were bloody creepy! Note: Sally sparrow is mine! hahahaha 8-)
