Rachie
Did Moshulu not hand out mini-CDs of Secret Machines at last year's Fresher's Fayre? I seem to remember getting one...I must have a re-listen.
Guest Frieda
I saw them supporting Interpol last Christmas. They were really good, but didnt sell any CDs or anything at the merchandise stand which was annoying.
Larsen B
Why do you reckon they are gonna be huge? Their first album didn't exactly make waves.

Inkster
Is that them that are likened to The Killers and played with them on the $2 bill concert?
psydoll
Why do you reckon they are gonna be huge? Their first album didn't exactly make waves.Good band with a growing fanbase - look at Sigur Ros getting way more attention from 'Takk' than previous albums as an example perhaps?Besides even if they weren't a good band (which they are) and he didn't think they were going to be big (which he does) you're hardly going to promote a show (which he is) with the tagline "aye they're a bit shite but it's better than staying at home eh?" are you? TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Wasn't too impressed with their first EP, but I've liked the later stuff that I've heard.

Some of their songs are pretty good, but they're not a band I'd, personally, go out of my way to see.

The only negative thing I could think of was that their songs were pretty long, but thats not necessarily a bad thing is it?Are they playing here or something, or did I just imagine that someone had written that?
