I'm sure the producers said that in there were 24 episodes in the podcast when they warbling about sweeps and how they have to take breaks etc. Does anyone know if the finale is going to be longer than a normal episode? Push the button - Keep the paradise island under control. The magnets make them invisible to the "outside" world, and Hanzo wants it to stay that way so they get new castaways crashing on the island. They need an ever lasting supply of new people to help harness the energy of the island by pressing the button.. Locke is the man of Faith and will eventually let the button slide - if Jack the man of science will let him. Don't push the button - When the button eventually doesn't get pressed, all the harnessed power of the island will slide and the island will be found navigationally and they will all be rescued. But the fear of not pressing the button will make them keep pressing it unless someone with faith intervenes and saves them all !!The universal struggle between good and bad is the button.. but they don't know it.I think when they don't press the button the black smoke will have freedom to do what it wants, rather than being used as a weapon. So, at the moment everything is under control, the smoke doesn't hurt no-one the Hanzo boys don't want to hurt, and they remain invisible to the outside World whilst maintaining a perfect balance on the island as long as the button is pressed.
