The girl who lives above me just plays really bad music (ie, delta goodrem/um/am or whatever she's called etc) and sings as loudly as she can along to it. Her voice is usually louder than the music, and it just goes on for hours and hours and hours. (I would like to add that her singing is absolutely awful) She actually never shuts up. Also, she must be the size of a whale because the amount of banging noises that come from upstairs is ridiculous. Oh, and right now she's watching sex in the city. (Yeah, I can hear her tv too).

I'm all for finding out about those crazy others, however, I hope we still see Saywer, lots of Sawyer, maybe even nude Sawyer.. But yeah, it'll be poop if we don't get to see all the characters we've spent two seasons following.. If Mr Echo is dead, then the only survivor from the other section of the plane will be Rose's husband..

WOW. I am SO fucking pleased that the island isn't something gay like limbo, and that everything is believable. Pens' Dad was the guy who's "race" it was.. maybe he has something to do with funding the project because he's well, loaded and that might explain her connection? The whole thing is just so bloody clever! I hope Desmond isn't dead, I like him. (also, anyone else notice he's in 24 season 5?) I expect all the 'others' are something to do with Dharma, but I'm not exactly sure what I think they are up to.. Maybe when Michael and Walt are rescued, their story will reach Pen and she'll track down exactly where Desmond is and save everyone! (Or not, probably.. not). Do you think Mr Echo and Locke are dead? I'll be sad if Locke is dead, but I'm not so bothered about Mr Echo; although the story about his brother etc is ace, I'm not too keen on him lately. ...Maybe the others wanted Sawyer, Jack and Kate because they're the hottest people on the island?

Hah, I can't believe there is a thread about opening jars today. Last night I was making bolognese for a couple of friends and one of them decided to be helpful and undo the lid. I didn't see her do this and picked it up really quickly and spilt it everywhere. Even on my slippers, I was quite upset. It's not the end of the world though, the slippers cleaned up AND we still have enough to cook with.

I went in expecting it to be not very good after reading this thread but I really enjoyed it. I haven't read the book, but I found it all really interesting. On a side note, did anyone else notice that Tom Hanks looked about 20 years youngerthan he has done for the past 5 years? Oh, and what's his face from Wimbledon, Paul somethin'.. despite being creepy was strangely hot.

That episode was so good. I CAN'T wait for the two hour finale! I love Sawyer, he's just, wow. He better live through this season! At the end of the first season I was so upset when I thought he might be dead! I hope the last episode isn't a let down!

I have been doing some open learning stuff out of Dundee college because Aberdeen was full up.. had to go a few times for exams.. and I have hated it. Neds by the boat load, and scary ones! One of my tutors insisted upon walking me through the college car park at 7pm because it's "not safe to walk through alone". And there's always an old lady at the bus station who stands and talks to herself and stares at people..

I had my first exam on Friday, my next one is tomorrow, and then I have two more. I'm doing open learning, and have to do it out of Dundee college because Aberdeen didn't have the courses/space.. so I have to get the bus at 6.30am to be at my 9am exam. Disaster!
