ilobemusic
cafe drummond is good because it has character ,a good athmosphere and good music.kef is alright but claustrophobic....moshulu has the often got the best bands but no athmosphere and im quite small so i always get stood on...nope cafe drummond is definitly my fav. Guest MDP
i'd go for tunnels, lots of good bands, atmosphere getting better every gig, and a nice venue overall...the tunnel leading to it is bloody minging though. i like drummonds too, not much of a kef fan, and i like moshulu, but agree that it has no atmosphere! timson
defo drummonds cause unless your upstairs you can usually get a clear view of the stage and the sound is good and at weekends most of the crowd are genuinly there to see the band or hear music
Paranoid Android
Definitely the tunnels, although there are none that i particulary dislike.

the_beastly_one
I'm a big fan of Moorings gigs, by far the warmest atmosphere for a gig venue in the city, although after my last visit, I won't be showing my face there again for a while....haha. Teabags
Dr Drakes was the best. No competition. Now, I'd say The Moorings or Captain Toms.
Guest Page 99
Captain Tom's for me, drakes does get an honerable mention, but Tom's is the new Drakes.
Paulscoconutass
Moorings gets my vote. Providing the band can get a good sound from their equipment, the audience - and band - usually here CD quality. Plus it's not too big or small. Guest MDP
i am too young to have ever been in drakes, i hear it rawked :'(
Scootray
Playing in Drakes was good, as was watching. It was small, which made it really cool. It gives the band some sort of "intimacy" with the crowd, and vice versa, if you know what I mean. It's no good having a big area with a small crowd scattered around the back somewhere.
