threeornothing
Is this another new band Kielan? No, we need a name better than a blatant rip off of a Fugazi album....2/3 of the band don't even listen to fugazi!
threeornothing
I need some help! I'm being beaten 2-1 on the nameSMOKE DAWGand that is fucking AWFUL!!!
Swingin' Ryan
I realise now that says "Dysphasia Demonstration CD" but I thought it said "Dysphasia Demonstration Co" which I thought was a pretty good band name. It makes little to no sense, but some of the best band names don't.
Guest b-bert
"Dysphasia Demonstration Co"i also think that, that sounds better

Surely you can tell from the type that it wouldn't be a metal band?If you want to hear a (vocal less) samplehttp://www.keilan303.demon.co.uk/newsong2.mp3
JJ 10 Easy Wishes
it sounds like a secondary school metal band or a covers band. dysphasia demonstration company is a much better name though!
Wishbone G
It sounds like an alright name. But i just cant help this...Doo Doo Doo Do Doo, Doo Doo Doo Do Doo, Doo Doo Doo Do Doo, This is Dysphasia

Guest bluesxman
Good font, not so good name. Definitely sounds like a metal band. But please stand fast on Smokin Dawg. That is the worst name ever.
framheim
it doesn't make me think of a cheesy metal band. it reminds me of the relapse band dysrythmia ( http://shop.relapse.com/artist/artist.aspx?ArtistID=10035 ) who do definitely non cheesy metal. the font works well with the name and if you're happy with it you should stick with it. i like the meaning. threeornothing
Hmm....I might just take the risk and stick with it, the others guy thought it was ok, but being from a strict non-metal background we're unbiased in our approach to obscure sounding names Although keeping with the dog theme, another thought was RELEASE THE HOUNDS :s We need a name that's witty at first, but that seems less funny each time you hear it.... Guest tv tanned
Associating a name with the sound you are expecting is particularly lame, unless the band name is an obvious nudge in the direction of the music, eg> MetallicaThe name is fine from my perspective, wouldn't put me off listening to songs or going to a gig, just like any other band name really. The name can be as cool as cool can be, but if the material cannot back it up...
