I took about 20 minutes to get the ball rolling. Once you're over the first race it's pretty plain sailing. I've done a couple of missions with some mates and a couple with strangers. Great banter!

I think the lo-fi-ness of it is part of the charm. It's great to see people getting together and putting their music out there. I was going to wish you luck with them, but judging by the fact most of your copies are gone I don't think you need it! -
I'm super broke at the moment Claire, too broke to warrant a new amp. It's god awful being a grown up with bills and things. If I manage to get some of my gear shifted or if you still have it after pay day I'll definitely be in touch, great wee amps!

Currently piecing together some ideas for some new Flights material as there's word on the street of a new EP. A lot noisier than my previous efforts which is mainly due to my current love of Big muff, delay and reverb. TSTWDEN is moving along nicely now. We've got a rhythm section and it hasn't taken the guitar orchestra shape we were originally planning. Still hoping to do that in the future mind you. We're basically Young Team era Mogwai wannabes. We've already got over an hours worth of material. Mental.

My current signal path is as follows: Tuner > Joyo Compressor > Boss DD-3 with all the dials up full > Black box Russian Small Stone > Black box Russian Big Muff Pi > Danelectro Analog Delay > EHX Stereo Pulsar Tremolo > Boss RV-3 for all the shoegaze > Digitech Jam man solo. I mainly just use the Muff, Dano delay and the RV-3.

I was just speaking to a colleague about how good it was to see the women's football getting some well deserved attention. Has the Scotland ladies team not scored 14 goals in their past two games? Has Motherwell even scored that many this year?

I was probably rushing my wiring of the switch and that if I'm honest as I was getting near the end and wanted it finished. Slow and steady wins the race etc etc. One of the solders on my output jack isn't pretty at all the more I think about it, could well be it that's causing a problem. The pedal kit I'm making doesn't have an LED as it runs off a 9v battery and according to the spiel in the build guide the LED draws way more juice than the circuit and just chews batteries. Going to have a look at it either tonight or tomorrow morning and see if I can locate the problem. Cheers for the advice Chris.

I probably piss everyone off on Facebook by constantly posting pictures of my little dog. I'm on board with the tough mudder hate. Everywhere. If it's so tough there is no way you'd manage to go out on the lash afterwards.

I don't actually think 20 quid is that bad for a practice space in a central location in which there is only a single room. Sure Toms is cheaper but he has 4 rooms, 5 if you include the studio. So he can make like 75 quid an hour. At a tenner an hour the most D-Range are going to make in a day if they are open from 12 till ten say is a hundred pounds. That takes into account it's being used every hour btw!
